Merging Cultures Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 But all these foreigners are pushing our young players out...
Larry_LCFC Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Need to give Oxford a baptism of fire. Come on Leicester!!
dayday Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 No surprise the Hammers have opted for Jenkinson, they fear Sclupps pace
st albans fox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Against their diamond, AK and DD could be over run. Hope he is going to start 3/5/2 or we could be up against it. Can't see us dictating the pace of the game etc at west ham
benpicko Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Happy with how easily this 4-4-1-1 turns into a 3-5-2 without having to make any substitutions.
lcfcsnow Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Would have gone for 3 at the back or in midfield today personally.
Steven Posted 15 August 2015 Author Posted 15 August 2015 Would have gone for 3 at the back or in midfield today personally. That side screams 3-4-1-2
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Glad Oxford is playing. Looked good when I seen him against arsenal... but we will be far more direct... see how he copes with our quick counters and pace upfront
Merging Cultures Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Would have gone for 3 at the back or in midfield today personally. They can. This team is flexible.Morgan Huth RDL Schlupp King DD Albrighton Mahrez Okazaki Vardy Or Schlupp Morgan Huth RDL Albrighton King DD Mahrez Okazaki Vardy Depends on what is needed during the game. #TinkermanTactics
benpicko Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Would have gone for 3 at the back or in midfield today personally. Very easily change from: De Laet - Huth - Morgan - Schlupp Mahrez - Drinky - Kingy - Albrighton Okazaki - Vardy to: De Laet - Huth - Morgan Albrighton - Drinky - Kingy - Schlupp Mahrez Okazaki - Vardy if necessary. Maybe even starting like that?
Witch Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Does anyone know what is going on with Wasyl? He's not even on the bench, AGAIN. WTF?
Legend_in_blue Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Not obvious to see how we'll set up with the players there. Adaptable. Options. We can change the team around without making substitutions. I like it.
SpacedX Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Our front two will hopefully pile the pressure on young Oxford. Well he owned Ozil as though it was an afterthought the other week. Very confident and calm performance in the face of extreme pressure and scrutiny. Let's hope so. Vardy and Okazaki looked a total nightmare to contain last week. I love the way that Shinji drops in just behind his strikepartner.
AKCJ Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Looked good when I seen him against arsenal... but we will be far more direct... see how he copes with our quick counters and pace upfront Yep, totally different game. West Ham will have the ball and he'll have to deal with Vardy, Kingy, Okazaki and Drinkwater snapping at his heels all game rather than sitting back and defending.
Brenfox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 They are very beatable especially if we're quick out of the blocks & grab an early goal.
Jimbo Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Well he owned Ozil as though it was an afterthought the other week. Very confident and calm performance in the face of extreme pressure and scrutiny. Let's hope so. Vardy and Okazaki looked a total nightmare to contain last week. I love the way that Shinji drops in just behind his strikepartner. Not saying it'll happen but the lad at 16 years old is more likely to believe the hype around him and let it go to his head. After such an impressive performance last week he could start to think he's better than he his. A couple of things go wrong and he could have a real heads gone moment. We're relying on pace up top let's hope we catch them flat footed
Merging Cultures Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Would have swapped King for Kante.Probably still needs more time to settle, and why change a winning team?
Richmondfox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I like the look of the players as they can switch positions within the game but would feel a little more confident in midfield if Kante was playing. Their fullbacks are going to be bombing forward so Jeff and Albrighton will have to be switched on and ready to counterattack.
m4DD0gg Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Probably still needs more time to settle, and why change a winning team? King is a bit light weight is all. Plus Kante has to start at some point.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Would have swapped King for Kante. i can see your thinking, being away Kante is more of a ball winner and would help with breaking West Ham down , but I guess Ranieri saw we were so good in that first half that it would be difficult to drop either of our midfield two... they both played brilliantly
weller54 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Would have swapped King for Kante. Ranieri out! We need a manager that changes things about a bit more!
