Does anyone know what is going on with Wasyl? He's not even on the bench, AGAIN. WTF?

He did travel, so I assume he is fit, and Claudio would just rather have Yohan on the bench.

I accept that we have flexibility within the side and can go to three at the back but this looks like a 4-4-2 start to me and I hope it doesn't backfire on us. We're a lot more assured with three at the back IMO and I wouldn't want us to leak a goal or two before reverting to our most successful formation. We were a threat last week but looked shaky at the start.

I agree with this. I like the flexibility, but hope we go with three at the back.

Oxfords gonna score today I can sense it. Reckon we'll snatch something though.

Put a fiver on Oxford of you are the confident, he is more of a midfield general by the looks of things than a goal scorer

Better cover for De Laet I would guess.

I don't get Ranieri's way of thinking then. How Benalouane is better than Wasyl? Duh.

Indeed... players that can play several positions are always better subs

More down to the different positions benalouane can play...

Would have swapped King for Kante.

The Guardian's match preview actually projected Kante as starting today, prior to the XI being released.

I have to think that if we time the subs off of the bench right that we can keep a torrid pace all game up front. Tinker might not be making a horrible decision there, but I too thought that Kante would get the chance to impact the match from the outset.

If anything, I thought we might play 5 in midfield but it would be harsh to drop anyone after last week's performance.

Wonderful logic. Put on the bench one shitty, but versatile player instead one decent, experienced and well tested. Now we can be shitty on more than one position. Yay!

Problem being he isn't shitty, he can do a job and a good one in a number of positions
