Derby had a loan offer turned down, apparently Spurs want him to go on loan in the Premier League to continue his development. I have no idea how true this is. I think he'll be on the verge of their 18 this season, but would like him here.

Good young english player, can cover the whole right side of the pitch from right back to right forward and is in the last year of his contract and heavily tipped to move into the prem this window. Would be good cover to albrighton and possible right back starter in a 4. Oh, and the fee touted about is 8m. Our speciality. I thought it would probably be him whilst at work today. Be very good competition for RDL as it looks like Simpson isn't in Tinkerman's plans.£8m should be enough right?

The likes of Byram and Grey who have been mentioned, Toney who went to Newcastle & Alli to Spurs.... suppose I always just think when a name like that gets mentioned that player will go to an Everton, Spurs or Newcastle. Be nice to see that change though!

We've been in for a few more that we couldn't get over the line too.

We've been in for a few more that we couldn't get over the line too. English players yes for sure. But those sort of, young, hot prospect (for want of a better phrase) players we never seem to track. Certainly not complaining as we seem to have a scouting network that is better at finding those players abroad.
