yorkie1999 Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 How about you stump up a couple of hundred million, you can then put anything you want on your flag. #superfan I was just thinking the same. The whole point of the owners buying City in the first place was to promote their business. If we win the champions league on the back of that ...bonus.
Dan Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 # anagram for Foxes European Adventure Really Looks Extra Sweet Soon Needs work So much effort. So little execution.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 How about you stump up a couple of hundred million, you can then put anything you want on your flag. #superfan Do the slobbering masses licking you up the rectum for literally any action, positive or negative come included in that, or is that another £50m extra?

Do the slobbering masses licking you up the rectum for literally any action, positive or negative come included in that, or is that another £50m extra? Weird...
Voll Blau Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Do the slobbering masses licking you up the rectum for literally any action, positive or negative come included in that, or is that another £50m extra? Ridiculous 12th minute applause is an extra £10m.
GaelicFox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 The club will get it right one of these days. Standing only. Nobody under 16, nobody over 35. Free Stone Island jackets for all fans on entry. Free smoke bombs / flares for all fans on entry. Club organised fights in the car-park before matches. Kasabian songs before, during and after the match. Finally, just maybe the hardcore football fans of the club will be happy. Hardcore ? .......Morons more like it ..... FFS some people just bitch and moan for sport , the club really do try , yes it's not perfect but for CHRIST sake they are trying Most on hear moaning won't even be there tomorrow You want to cop yourselfs on the moaners , it was only a few short years ago we were traveling to wastelands like Grimsby JESUS
GaelicFox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 We could add airport scanners and security at the turnstiles then lots of cosmetic and perfume concessions in the concourse, for the true duty-free experience.Or we could give them back thier money and we can Feck back to league one
lifted*fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Just checking, but you realise I'm in support of the club and my comments are tongue-in-cheek digs at the people who don't understand that our club is also someone's business, right?
lifted*fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Every just chill, crack open a beer and enjoy some Wu-Tang.
ousefox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Does anybody work in social media on here? I did some summer work for a company a few years ago specialising in social media marketing and I just don't understand what the club are trying to get out of this. If you search #fearless you get a few Leicester posts but it's such a generic word it's not going to have any impact. It just doesn't make any sense to me and makes it look like the marketing department is run by a bunch of amateurs.
Master Fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Couldn't agree more. By advertising KP brand were are only benefitting as a club, its not rocket science. Weird... I don't get this whole advertising the King Power brand? Unless you're in Bangkok airport it's not like you can actively seek out their products to buy? And even then you're limited to one choice of store if you want to buy some duty free.
Frank to be Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Nice idea, don't care about KP getting a bit of exposure from it, but the design does look like it has been rustled up in two minutes on ms paint. It's a bit of a wasted opportunity.

They've got shopping centres outside of the airports and an infamous hotel as well

You do know the game is broadcast all around Asia don't you??
Master Fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 They've got shopping centres outside of the airports and an infamous hotel as well I'm not sure your average football fan thinks about going out of their way to stay at the King Power hotel when going to Thailand.

Frank to be Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 I'm not sure your average football thinks about going out of their way to stay at the King Power hotel when going to Thailand. It'll be broadcast all over Asia and watched by many people who may well think about staying at the hotel or shopping at the shopping centre. Haven't you noticed that about a third of the pitch side ads at premier league games are written in Asian languages? They're aimed at the international television audience not people at the ground.
Charl91 Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 #Fearless has 8 letters in it, and 2 syllables, so let's have a round of applause in the 82nd minute as a show of appreciation for this wonderful, new slogan.
Jacnah Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 As others have said #fearless should've been binned at the end of the season, although it was pretty shit to begin with. Why the club are now using it as our club motto (plastering it on the stadium? Really?) instead of the classic foxes never quit is absolutely beyond me. I guess they're trying to modernise the club and show they're clued in with social media, but instead it shows just how detached they are from the fans and the club's tradition. There is so little about the stadium that points to our history. The banners around the top of the stadium with old players have been replaced by King Power, the big banner that used to have Lineker on outside the stadium was replaced by King Power (and now the incredibly bland LCFC), there are no statues, no references to club legends outside the ground (I don't think, it's been a while since I walked round to the west stand), and now #fearless is being plastered everywhere instead of something like foxes never quit. You'll see #fearless appearing on the inside of the player's tunnel, replacing foxes never quit. This is maybe an overreaction, but it's just a shame IMO. i feel slightly embarrassed whinging about this stuff..but its not going to stop me :-) the #Fearless is complete cringe..hopefully reps from the marketing team read these forums (if they don't then they are the only comms/branding team that don't) and get a vibe for the general feeling and adapt accordingly. The point about the blandness of the stadium and the lack of connection to the past is completely spot on
Guest MattP Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 As many have said - great idea, shit flag. It's becoming so obvious which displays are made by fans and which ones are made in a business department.
Captain... Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Does anybody work in social media on here? I did some summer work for a company a few years ago specialising in social media marketing and I just don't understand what the club are trying to get out of this. It just doesn't make any sense to me and makes it look like the marketing department is run by a bunch of amateurs. This is a very good point, it is not a great #tag in that it is generic. How about #Raniera as in this is the Ranieri era or #Claudio9 as in I'm on cloud 9 with Claudio. At least that would be unique and all hashtags would relate only to us, even our club initials aren't unique, fortunately we are bigger than Lincoln. LCFC2015 isn't very inspiring either. Come on boys and girls if we are going to have a # for us what should it be, we can vote on it then spam it on Twitter until the club takes it up. If you hate #fearless then come up with something better and use it.
LCFC FOX Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Union FS display got no coverage what so ever from the media, no doubt motd, Sky the lot will show this being passed around as the teams come out. So everyone just thinks we're cringey with our clappers and fearless flags
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 As many have said - great idea, shit flag. It's becoming so obvious which displays are made by fans and which ones are made in a business department. One would hope.
Kitchandro Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Some of the posts in this thread are absolutely disgraceful. Couldn't even get past page 2 before I needed to comment. The club have never, ever cared about the atmosphere, and are only pretending to now because what Union FS have done has become so popular. The fans have never needed any help, (unless of course, they're going to back safe standing. Have they done that yet since 95% of fans have voted in it's favour? No, because they don't care about the atmosphere). Mainly, they just need the co-operation of the club to let them do what they want. The claims from some that the club are the ones that have instigated the improvement in the atmosphere is absolutely stupid and pretty disrespectful to those who have put the real effort in.
