HEGGSY Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 I just wish they wouldn't stick King Power on everything that ****ing moves We're rubbish at carrying these big flags as it is. Have they not seen how much better fan initiated and funded tifos/displays are? Does it say @LCFC ?! No mate it's the badge. If anyone can remember the one against Donny when we went up, it ended up upside down
Ricey Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Giant flag = good idea. Including lame social media hashtag and King Power branding = cringe
silebyboy Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 I hope they have a fire safety certificate for that flag.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Hope its got a fire safety certificate. Edit: Beaten by one post, REALLY
stripeyfox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 I need to see the fire safety certificate first! Beaten to it. Twice.
lifted*fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 The club have been more than helpful of late when it comes to the atmosphere. They've supported UnionFS and given them a platform to put on their own tifo displays, etc. Whether you like them or not they've provided flags, clappers, beers, etc. They've taken it upon themselves to make a big flag, albeit the #fearless tag is a bit cringe-worthy and people moan about it. You'll do ****ing well to remember what the atmosphere was like before the club started getting on board with it.
Dan Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Giant flag = good idea. Including lame social media hashtag and King Power branding = cringe Pretty much my stance on it.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 The club have good intentions but terrible execution at the moment. A surfer isn't a bad idea but to have a hashtag on it is absolute garbage. Also dilutes the impact of the fan funded stuff imo.

They're not asking for blood, just to pass a flag around for a few minutes.
lifted*fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Also dilutes the impact of the fan funded stuff imo. In what way dude? If UnionFS haven't got a display planned for this game then surely something is better than nothing. I agree with you, execution not great, intent good - can't see anything else wrong with it tbh.
les-tah Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Some of you sound ungrateful just appreciate what the clubs trying to do
davieG Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Hmm surely if you don't like what's on it produce your own. When it comes to stuff like this think of them as the competition and do better than them perhaps they'll see from that the sort of thing the fans think is good.

If you don't like it, get your own fan group going and do something different
lifted*fox Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 My thoughts exactly, well said. If you don't like it, get your own fan group going and do something different Innit - people are quick to forget the days of Lee Hoos (was that the guy?) and his CCTV tirade of stamping out any kind of standing / vocal / visual support in the ground.
Ricey Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 My thoughts exactly, well said. If you don't like it, get your own fan group going and do something different It's frustrating because a lot of the things the club does (clappers, flags, t-shirts) etc is well-intended and it's great that they are putting money towards improving the atmosphere, but the execution is terrible. I think they are hoping that #fearless will become a new club motto, but the fans will never take to it because it's come from the clubs marketing department (and it sounds lame).
Finnaldo Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 WHY WOULD YOU PUT A FVCKING HASHTAG ON IT THIS IS REAL FVCKING LIFE

Were you not in the stadium last week?
EnglishOxide Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 You can say its shit without being ungrateful for what the club has previously participated you know. #fearless I can just about understand but the ****ing King Power logo!? They blatantly just want to get that photographed and we will be a laughing stock. 'Look at all these people lads, advertising a duty free company!'
davieG Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Were you not in the stadium last week? Yes, why? Did the fans have a big flag of their own.

Who owns, and is the official sponsor of, Leicester City Football Club?
Foxes1 Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Should be better than that abysmal effort of the claret and blue streamers at West Ham last week.
RonnieTodger Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 That's poor. Why not just have one of the shirt? Looks better and they can still get the King Power logo out, if they're so desperate. Also, has anyone other than them ever used #FEARLESS seriously?
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 Credit to the club for the idea. I've wanted a big flag in the Kop for ages, but will it be at every home game this season? Was the one with 'Were in it Together' at every home game in that campaign anyone? One adjustment I would make to that flag though is to add Foxes Never Quit instead of the #fearless.
