Cringe. One more pre match beer for me tomorrow.

Yes, why? Did the fans have a big flag of their own.

Not purely specific to the flag but UFS had a massive fan designed Tifo, a huge fan designed banner and home made flags.

They don't like #Fearless rubbish so produced their own? Granted they can't do it every week.

You can say its shit without being ungrateful for what the club has previously participated you know.

#fearless I can just about understand but the ****ing King Power logo!?

They blatantly just want to get that photographed and we will be a laughing stock.

'Look at all these people lads, advertising a duty free company!'

They're a business, they use the club as an advertising channel - are you still surprised by this?

Nobody outside the club will even give a shit. Hardly 'laughing stock' material is it?

Well my comments were just in relation to people slagging off the club's  flag.

I'm  aware of the time, money and effort UFS put in but equally I'm  sure the club  goes to some length to do  what they like.

The club will continue to do so, like I said if the fans don't  like what they do show them how to do it (a flag that is).

At least the club are doing something.

Shame it has to be advertising and PR driven and not fan driven or even atmosphere driven.

tbh if I see a giant flag going around like that I say: "oh, King Power, oh #fearless" Yippee.

It's a half arsed effort to increase the atmosphere and increase fan support; and it probably will, it's just not what you'd expect a club's giant flag to be.

Can't wait for the #fearless thing to die in all honesty, but I know full well the club will be forcing it for years.

This is all the more reason and inspiration for Union FS to make their own flags, without a manufactured agenda - Leicester City.

Just to pre-empt this potential question and because it's good timing, I'm trying to get hold of the old FT flag (the larger one).

From my personal experience, giant flags are a logistical nightmare!

When will the club learn to just let the fans get on with it. Please tell me how we are fearless too?

Because we watched Leicester City when they were bound for relegation  .

Imagine if the Liverpool fans in the Kop unfurled a huge flag with #WalkOn and a Standard Chartered logo on it.

Hang on though, they pump in a lot of money so that would make it all ok.

As others have said #fearless should've been binned at the end of the season, although it was pretty shit to begin with. Why the club are now using it as our club motto (plastering it on the stadium? Really?) instead of the classic foxes never quit is absolutely beyond me. I guess they're trying to modernise the club and show they're clued in with social media, but instead it shows just how detached they are from the fans and the club's tradition.

There is so little about the stadium that points to our history. The banners around the top of the stadium with old players have been replaced by King Power, the big banner that used to have Lineker on outside the stadium was replaced by King Power (and now the incredibly bland LCFC), there are no statues, no references to club legends outside the ground (I don't think, it's been a while since I walked round to the west stand), and now #fearless is being plastered everywhere instead of something like foxes never quit. You'll see #fearless appearing on the inside of the player's tunnel, replacing foxes never quit.

This is maybe an overreaction, but it's just a shame IMO.

Such an odd justification isn't it?

Some people appear to want to praise the owners for anything they do, it's as if they see it as heresy to stray from the path of unquestioning worship. "Oh, they tried", "What does it matter that they're opportunistically plugging their brand", "I've always loved cringey, corporate slogans"

Ugh. Personally I expect a lot better than this.

Intimidating fortress like atmospheres aren't created by 12 year olds with unbroken voices, nor do slogans made up by children such as 'fearless'!

When are the club going to realise what is conducive to a good atmosphere! Bring back standing, lower prices and let your 'working man' back through the gates. Proper football experience. Then those who can't remember these times in English football will experience what watching football should be like. Germany have it spot on.
