Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Vardy looks like some just looked over his shoulder and saw his cards... Haha yeah, I think that face is when he's gone past over-joyed and just looks murderous
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 So the club are running this initiative for the fans. To design something which represents the spirit of LCFC and likely a bit of an admission that they got it so wrong with all that #Fearless stuff. And people are voluntarily smacking King Power logos on their designs?! Beggars belief... Please, before you submit them, take the logos off. King Power and LCFC are separate entities and that's the way it should remain. For once, in our stadium we're being offered a chance at doing something which goes against the corporate overload. Let's not miss it.

Bayfox Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I assumed people here where whacking it on in a sarcastic manner. Or at least I hope that's the case... No they are doing it as we can assume the club will shoe horn it in somewhere, so may as well work with it.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 No they are doing it as we can assume the club will shoe horn it in somewhere, so may as well work with it. This. It's guaranteed they'll put their logo on and fair enough, if you don't incorporate the logo or at least leave an obvious space for it they'll alter your design to add it in
Voll Blau Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 No they are doing it as we can assume the club will shoe horn it in somewhere, so may as well work with it. Quite an assumption to make.
lgfualol Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Someone do a design with a bunch of failed players saying "this is you lot if we dont get top 10"
Voll Blau Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Really? Yeah. The club try to appease fans by offering their input after the other week's banner got panned for being too corporate. First thing the fans do is try to appease the club by accomodating the club's corporate identity without being asked to do so. Strange.

Voll Blau Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Although i agree with what your saying, i would think that the chances for the winning design, will be greatly enhanced with the inclusion of the "King Power" logo! So people are shoehorning it in themselves because it's more likely to win? For what it's worth I's really like Mr Shabadoo's design but without the King Power logo. Looks smart.
Stadt Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I was definitely being sarcastic with the use of the leicester city King Power logo
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Read the very first page, all designs are going to the FCC. The 'best' ones will then get selected to go forward for a public vote - and I can guarantee none of the 'best' designs will have individual players on them. I cant say how I know, I just know, trust me. I wouldnt have posted if it was speculation on my part. If you seriously want your design considered, I would suggest no players photos. #ITK

For what it's worth I's really like Mr Shabadoo's design but without the King Power logo. Looks smart. Cheers - I added the KP logo to lessen the chance of them tinkering with my design, not to boost chances of it being selected. I work in graphic design and if we are funding something, we'll make sure our logo is on it and to our specification. That's why I put the logo where I did and left a clearance zone around it which will no doubt be in their visual identity guidelines Has anyone seen anything Leicester City related (funded by the club/King Power) which doesn't feature the KP logo? These giant flags probably cost a fair whack and if it's going to be used at every home game, they'll want to capitalise on a bit more brand exposure. It'd be ideal if it was just Leicester City branded, but business is business
Stadt Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I don't really understand putting the King Power logo everywhere it can physically be, its called The King Power stadium and on the shirts, having it stuck on a flag isn't going to get any more exposure other than moaning from Leicester fans which isn't going to increase sales for Thai duty free shops in Thailand.

They can put it where they want just remember where we were before them !!!!!!

Stadt Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 They can put it where they want just remember where we were before them !!!!!! In the championship after a relatively brilliant season two games away from the premier league? I appreciate what they've done but they can't just do what they please because we might be in the championship, blind faith or loyalty to owners is why fans are becoming more sanitised.
Aus Fox Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I like the style, but I just have to question the choice of players. They have nothing in common other than playing for Leicester, they are probably all in the top 10 of Leicester legends, but why those 3? I wouldn't say they were top 3 Leicester legends, Muzzy, Lineker, Shilton etc If you had Banks, Lineker, Heskey and Vardy at least there is an England link. I posted this earlier, but these combinations would be a bit more coherent, and could be a series: Schmeichel with Banks, Shilton, Keller. Morgan with Elliott, Walsh, Graham Cross King with Izzett, Weller, Dave Gibson Mahrez with Guppy, Joachim, Frankie Wortho Vardy with Lineker, Rowley, Chandler Obviously anyone can disagree with these selections, but at least there is a theme. What about one with Shilton, Lineker, Cross and Heskey. All born and raised in Leicester, going on to be heroes of the club.
Wymsey Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Need one of Kasabian. Even Ranieri's a fan of them, to motivate the team.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I've done one but I ent sure, making a flag is HARD
cambridgefox Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I think we have a winner.Leave it to the pros .
C-man Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Although i agree with what your saying, i would think that the chances for the winning design, will be greatly enhanced with the inclusion of the "King Power" logo! Well given that fans are on the panel getting the shortlist drawn up and then it's a completely public vote I doubt it will make a difference. I would hope that the FCC put any corporate shite in the bin though.
