Webbo Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Better than grimshaw but then that's because grimshaw embodies the concept of a annoying hipster yuppie - shit hair, shit fashion sense, shit voice and shit taste in music and comedy. If you're not listening to radio two and chris Evans followed by ken bruce you're just wrong mind. Simon Mayo in the evening is great as well I totally agree about radio 2 but I can't help feeling you're a bit young to be listening to the same station as me.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 thats why he works on radio innit Good point well made
Father Ted Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Lowest common denominator humour for thick ****s that also think James Corden and Jack Whitehall are hilarious. #roybin The first... and only time I think I will ever agree with you.
Father Ted Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 In terms of radio, all about Demon FM, usually just music without the chit-chat bollocks in between. Monday nights are quality for a bit of reggae.
MPH Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Always found him obnoxious. Can never stand him for more than 5 minutes, and that's usually whilst he's playing a song...
Matt Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Think he's brilliant, quite impressed with Radio X tbh, there playlist is pretty good, so far, it's only been 2 days, no doubt it'll get as repetative and boring as every other radio station. The even applies to Absolute Radio (Which I do like station but the point still remains) - Ok, they have a no repeat guarentee but it's like a CD, with the songs in the same order every day, but it's better than most in the fact you won't hear the same song twice in a day I guess. I'm pretty much finished with Radio 1 though, pretty much since Moyles left, Grimshaw is a ****, don't like that new women after Grimshaw (Although from when I have listened she's an improvement on Fearne Cotton), Scott Mills is ok, quite like him, Greg James is alright, and Zane Lowe probably the only decent person on Radio 1 has now left. Lowest common denominator humour for thick ****s that also think James Corden and Jack Whitehall are hilarious.#roybin No, I like Moyles, can't stand Corden or Whitehall, well Whitehall is ok in small dose's I guess, very small dose's. Corden's just an arsehole. Since i've recently discovered streaming and Apple Radio though I don't really listen to much 'normal' radio anymore, but Radio X has impressed me.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 I prefer Shen. On http://www.regenradio.com 8-10 on Tuesday evenings!
Dr The Singh Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 He maybe a cock etc, but he is better then that knob who took his job on radio 1
big stodge Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Can't think of anything good to say about him. Always thought of him as a bit of a dickhead.
purpleronnie Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 I thought at the beginning he was very good. But as the show progressed it seemed to be more about him and his 'celebrity' friends than anything else and those celebrities were mainly awful pop bands or reality TV people, it became annoying and dull.
oxford blue Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Think he's brilliant, quite impressed with Radio X tbh, there playlist is pretty good, so far, it's only been 2 days, no doubt it'll get as repetative and boring as every other radio station. Of course there is little chance of Chris Moyles' playlist becoming repetitive...he rarely stops talking.
sdb Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Loved him as a kid and think he's good at what he does. Outgrown it myself now. Clearly a bell end though.
Guest Manini Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 He came in to the bar I work at a few months ago, I served him and asked him why he never played any of this kind of music on his radio show (I work in an indie bar) He told me to fxck off. Lovely chap.
Bayfox Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Not listened. As I assume he is trying to relive want he had at radio 1. On a radio level I liked what he did at the time. On the others dragged up. Whitehall. Really. Such a knob. Corden well if nothing else that England thing was his best work.
sphericalfox Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 What, no MattP gags? I'm disappointed.
katieakita Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 I normally listen to Xfm in the morning and today was the first time since Moyles came back, it just reminded me what a boorish **** he was, I preferred Jon Holmes in the morning. porn star
MPH Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 I think this might be the first Foxestalk thread EVER Where people have shared wildy differing opinions and it has not descended into handbags at 5 paces. Bravo, chaps.
Durnerz Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 The only saving grace coming out of this is that twat 'Comedy' Dave isn't there to steal a living.
Captain... Posted 25 September 2015 Posted 25 September 2015 I gave him a chance but he is a cvnt, now I need something else to listen to in the morning. Similar sort of playlist to xfm, but without an irritating cvnt of a dj.
LutterworthLCFC Posted 25 September 2015 Posted 25 September 2015 Christian O Connell breakfast show on Absolute is by far the best. I quite like the show, but can't stand Richie Firth.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 25 September 2015 Posted 25 September 2015 I quite like the show, but can't stand Richie Firth.Haha. Actually prefer him to the rest.
