A thought of my own, how many injuries, or better said how many hits from the present 1st 11

could we take. 2/3/5 ????

Arsenal seem to have the best in depth squad.

W.Ham, are not doing badly, being they have 6 top players injured.

Bournemouth seems they can only carry 2-3.

Sunderland, and Villa fans might be praying that they get 7-9 injuries, it couldnt be worse.

Manutd, it doesnt make too much difference who plays, they are for a top club poor.

Depends entirely on which players.

Albrighton, Huth, Drinkwater, Simpson or Morgan out would hurt, but we would have competent replacements lined up. However, should Schmeichel, Vardy, Mahrez, Kanté og Fuchs get injured, we would be severely weakened.

Don't think there can be much doubt about Chelsea and Man City having the strongest squads. Arsenal have a good squad too, but they need it with their perpetual injury problems. Man Utd, for all their wealth, have such a ridiculously imbalanced squad. I mean, playing 3 youngsters in defense? Really?

Bournemouth seem to be doing well recently despite having Gradel, Elphick, Mings and Wilson out long term. Well done to them!

If Embolo is as good as he's meant to be, I'd offer cash + Kramaric + Inler. Surely the Swiss national team captain has some appeal to Basel, and Kramaric has shown that he can do it in a sub-par European league. Providing James is on his way back and/or we sign a Inler replacement as 4th/5th choice. Don't think he'll come anyway with the names interested in him but it's worth a try.

It's a pity we can't get hold of Denayer from Man City, for RB position.

Young, quite proven in a top-flight league and highly thought of.

Basel was Inler's first club as well, he might like to go back there

His name has been mentioned a lot on here but Sky Sports have released a source this morning saying Honda is keen to remain at Milan until the summer at least.

Goalkeeping options

Ruddy from Norwich looks like he'll team up well with Vards.

As far as I know, he doesn't.

Mainly because they released him from their academy when he was still young due to a "lack of talent" from what I remember.

Well, he certainly proved them wrong.

There's a mirror over there, Colin...

Then look in it and realise you are utterly biased when it comes to Inler. Like you were with 'world class' Cambiasso.

Have you found the mirror yet, Colin? It's right next to you, buddy.

Messi.

We need someone to cover in case mahrez gets injured after all.

Probably worth getting that Lewandowski fella aswell just incase Vardy gets sidelined.

Personally, I'd rather we persuaded Aubameyang to join the mighty Leicester. He's much more suited to our style. :D

Is El Shaarawy a bit out of our league? he is currently out on loan from Milan? are they looking to offload maybe?!

If i remember Monaco have a purchase option at the end of the loan but I could be wrong. Same with that Mastour chap and Malaga

Think we need to make a statement in January and show that we mean business. We really need to complete our business early before players get snapped up. Please oh please go out and get George Boyd.

Hey, he could do the job and act as a successful model for our 2016 spring catalogue.

My gosh, this isn't even FM stuff.

Plus, I really doubt Basel matches on wages, so that swap isn't even realistic.

Okay, so please drop the video game console, leave the house and watch some real-life professional footy.

On a sidenote: Raffael doesn't play as an attacking midfielder, he's a centre forward/striker.

I imagine Basel wages would be akin to those of say..Charlton lol

Embolo will move on soon I'd imagine. And Inler wouldn't entertain playing back in Swiss. I doubt it anyway.
