Sampson Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Imagine if Vardy and Austin clicked as a strikeforce though...
Xen Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Imagine if Vardy and Austin clicked as a strikeforce though... Now imagine the infinite situations where they don't because Vardy's style of play only works when the whole team contributes, and Austin isn't the kind of player to play into that.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Would be keen on Carillo or someone like Mirallas. Granted Mirallas didn't do much vs Norwich today but he'd suit us and can't get in everton first eleven. Would probably be £5-7m. Would love a big bid for Ighalo too but can't see Watford selling.
Bamba's Babes Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Breel Embolo - Have we been linked or something?
Deucalion Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Could Austin and Vardy be the new Shearer and Sutton ?!?!
Buzzell Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Could Austin and Vardy be the new Shearer and Sutton ?!?! Nah I was thinking more Fryatt and Howard.
Max Power Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 We're way beyond fat losers like Charlie Austin lads come on
filbertstreet Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 We're way beyond fat losers like Charlie Austin lads come on you're right, we should re-sign gtf
Heymister2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Austin scored 19 in a shit team! Does that count for nothing!
Happy Fox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Can we bring the Pea back to the Premier league?
HankMarvin Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Jose Mourinho has hailed the 'beautiful story' of Jamie Vardy's record-breaking season and told the Leicester striker it's no surprise that the top clubs are now all after him, writes Tom Hopkinson in the Sunday People. Both Mourinho's Chelsea and London rivals Tottenham have been linked with the England striker, who has scored 14 goals in 19 appearances for club and country this season, including 13 in 11 successive Premier League outings. And as he prepared to find a way to deal with Vardy today, the Blues boss said: "It is a beautiful story and his record is historical. Reuters Impressed: Mourinho says it's no surprise big clubs are interested in Vardy Reuters / Eddie Keogh Finish: Vardy scored against Man United in Leicester's last home game "I don't think next season someone will come and beat his record, it is not an easy one to do. "He is top scorer and it is normal that big clubs want him. It is normal. "Even at big clubs transitions are important, fast players are important, having people to attack space behind defenders are important. "Obviously in the big teams sometimes we face very low blocks where technical players who play in the box are very much needed, but a fast player with objective and who is direct can have success everywhere."
lgfualol Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Cant wait for the Transfer forum section to be open again
Buzzell Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Cant wait for the Transfer forum section to be open again Ahhh the thought of going through pages and pages of bullshit...
Lambert09 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Sorry if this has been posted but Kramaric was linked with shef weds for 9m. In one of our dog meat papers. Can't say I believe it mind
ronnup Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Wonder if Hernandez would like to come back and prove a point in the Prem? Obviously very unlikely, but him and Vardy would be immense. As a more realistic option I like Hoolahan.
Gerard Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Sorry if this has been posted but Kramaric was linked with shef weds for 9m. In one of our dog meat papers. Can't say I believe it mind That would be brilliant for us if true. Buy a potential worldie, he fails, get our money back. Could be great business for Sheff Wed. Kramaric has banged them in for fun in the Croatian top league which is probably a similar standard to the Championship.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I don't think Ighalo or Embolo are realistic.
FireFox Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I don't think Ighalo or Embolo are realistic. Why not for Embolo? We've been scouting him, knowing he'll cost 20 million. He probably would believe he could get into our starting XI. Unless we can't match wages (if that's important to him) or he would rather play for a historically big club (maybe Aston Villa?), then I don't see why we can't sign him.
foxes21 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Nah I was thinking more Fryatt and Howard. For anyone thinking we should sign Austin.. This. x100
Fox 4 Life Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I'm not sure on De Jong either. I'm not really sure what harm it can do though if we get rid of Inler. I cannot see any way Inler will ever hold down a place in this team. He just doesn't fit our style. Neither does Kramaric. Neither are poor players and I have no ill feeling towards either as it happens. If Sheff Weds are seriously toying with £9mil for the bloke then we have to take it for me. 9m for who?

fuchsntf Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I am happy with Ranieri statement, that they wont sell, and are not looking to buy in January. Mentioning he wants to keep Kramaric, that he and Inler are finding it hard, but he still sees them as players he will be using, and are more than capable to make a spot their own, if injuries force him to re-jig the side. In this he says why should he , the club, buy when they have what he sees has quality in the background biting at the bit dying for a chance and importantly know their team/squad Mates, understand the system, and wont need any embedding in. A thought of my own, how many injuries, or better said how many hits from the present 1st 11 could we take. 2/3/5 ???? Arsenal seem to have the best in depth squad. W.Ham, are not doing badly, being they have 6 top players injured. Bournemouth seems they can only carry 2-3. Sunderland, and Villa fans might be praying that they get 7-9 injuries, it couldnt be worse. Manutd, it doesnt make too much difference who plays, they are for a top club poor.
