I thought the whole reason it never went through last time was down to his own personal choice anyway. Especially one who they won't play purely because he won't sign a contract. If I was Carillo and someone wanted to pay €13m in January I'd tell them no and you can give me the lion's share of that as a signing on fee if I sign a pre contract. At this point a €3m bid should suffice in January as it gets some money in and gets him off the wage bill for a player they refuse to play. Anyway Inter are apparently interested so we've next to no chance.

The other clubs may be willing to have him as he's decent and they can have him on a Bosman, if it doesn't work out they can sell for a profit a year down the line.

They're a far bigger club but we've currently got about as much chance of playing in Europe next season as they have.

Agreed, he's a presence in the box type player and that's not our style, I don't thinks he much of an upgrade on Ulloa either. Would love Breel Embolo but I guess it's a matter of where we finish this season and whether we are willing to pay 20 million plus. Would also like Carrillo if we can get him on the cheap in January but not too fussed about him if we don't in all honesty
