He said,pussy.What's wrong with that?

Mrs Slocombe said it regularly.

It was used as innuendo.

Neither did Mrs Slocombe aspire to be President of the USA.

Why in earth is this headline news in the UK? It's embarrassing. Like the USA would give a shit about who our prime minister is.

Because they are a - no, the - global power, whereas we are an insignificant, soon-to-be banana republic, living on past glories.

It's nothing to do with that. It's the media obsession with brexit and immigration. If trump and Clinton both had the same views on immigration it wouldnt be big news here.

Bullshit. The US election is always big news in this country.

It's actually pretty big news, as far as foreign politics are concerned. (The UK PM)

Wow that was painful to watch for both Republicans and dems. I think trump did better than last time but clearly is an absolute clown.

Trump 'doing better' means he didn't do what he did the last go around, which was about as bad as he possibly could have done.

He's a baby Mussolini who might be the worst spoken politician I have ever had the misfortune of listening to.

Well Trump hit is out of the park. The one liner 'Because you would be in jail' was the possibly the best comeback of the debate. The BBC even said Trump tied so that pretty much says he won with ease.

Although the debate content was pretty abysmal.......

That 30 minute segment after the first question was over was amazing to watch. By that I don't mean it was exciting, although it was that a bit, I mean it was bewildering to watch a presidential debate turn into a bitter, anti-intellectual slogging match.

I'd say Trump won the evening but only because he largely achieved his goal of turning the event into a personality battle which he had prepared for, whereas Clinton had prepared for an actual debate, which was arguably a bit naive of her.

It was also a bit dictatorial. If he'd said 'trial' instead of 'jail' that would've been more passable but he didn't say that.

We now know Trump is someone who brags about sexual assault and Hillary still can't put him away, starting to realise now why she had such a battle with an old commie for the nomination.

Trump won the debate fairly comfortable last night which is mental given the day he's had, I think far far too damage has now been done though for him to win, I'd imagine the Dems have something else to release just before the election as well.

And yeah "Because you'd be in jail" was brilliant, finally a moment in the debates we'll remember for years.

Nobody can win with so many senior figures on his own side putting the boot in.

Got no hope.

Clinton's a horrible candidate, you could argue she's doing a great job of making Trump look electable but you can flip it on its head, also. As in, it shows just how unimaginable a world with Trump as president is that Hillary ****ing Clinton is going to beat him to it.

This sounds like the worst possible outcome for the Republicans.

The consensus seems to be that Trump did better than last time but that neither candidate can claim a major victory.

It sounds as if Trump's performance will have rallied those already intending to vote for him without being likely to attract the swing voters he needs to win.

This will presumably make it tougher for any Republicans wanting to force Trump out and introduce a late replacement candidate.

If he'd had another unequivocally disastrous night, that would have been much easier - and might conceivably have worked with a half-decent candidate, if the doubts about Hilary are as widespread as they seem.

The debates are quite personal, and not really what the Americans want to hear - such as how to tackle gun problems, terrorism-related etc. Suppose it's about being the better personality for the role than an effective leader.

This is just like the Brexit campaign all toss and no hard facts/realities.

All it really needs now is a bus with 'Grab them by the pussy' written on the sides

America might be better off with someone you don't really know but can quietly get the job done rather than have two egotistical maniacs who just slander each other all the time and think personality is more important than doing a good job

Trump had some one liners but thats all he has. It was a funny comment i laughed myself but to say he won the debate, no way. Was a tie at best.

I know politicians dont always directly answer questions when asked but this guy gives it a whole other meaning. Scary.

In any given normal year hillary would have been eaten alive by a sensible republican candidate. She is 10000x more presidential then trump but just doesnt do it for me. Her email scandal is a tough one to shy away from.

Like ive said before thank goodness im not an american. Deplorable candidates! :)

Trump is fast becoming if not already a yin to the yang of Corbyn

Disowned by his elected party colleagues but loved by a vast number of voters
