MC Prussian Posted 10 January 2016 Author Posted 10 January 2016 Fair play to Oxford, they're playing like an upper-table Championship side here. Effective pressing, forcing Swansea to commit early mistakes. Their passing is also entertaining to watch, great moves.
Matt Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 They didn't say it themselves, did they? I just thought it was Danny Murphy chatting about it. Ade Edmondson said it and I think their chairman was alluding to it when interviewed at HT on Friday, think plenty of the fans wanted it, I was under the opinion everyone wanted the draw to take it back to Anfield/everyone saw it as the best result.
TheSomersetFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 This Oxford team are brilliant and the fans are nice and loud too. great to watch
davieG Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Stephen Dawson captain for Scunthorpe against Chelsea Mark Robins manager.
filbertway Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Why does he keep saying Swansea are the first premier league team to be knocked out of the cup? Top quality entertainment there and thoroughly deserved for Oxford. Seen them a few times on sky this season and they've looked pretty good.
Guest Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Looks like Chelsea want to win the Cup with that lineup against the minnows.
FireFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Looks like Chelsea want to win the Cup with that lineup against the minnows.Or just want to get their confidence back.
ScouseFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 good cup tie this second half. hopefully theres a major scrap soon, or a scunthorpe goal oh well that ruined that fun
ozleicester Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Chelsea 2-0 up... see theyve taken this serious
Matt Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Cardiff 0-1 Shrewsbury. Both of the sheepshaggers out of the cup by underdogs?

iamafox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Only 4,782 people attended the Cardiff v Shrewsbury match.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Anyone hearing about this wheelchair the Villa fans stole from WWFC? Can't stand their fans
Jordan Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 I wonder who won the gum-spitting contest between Brad Guzan and Joleon Lescott during the game. Those two have been a comedy duo on the pitch this season, so they might as well be clowns off of it, too...
Dan Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Blatent dive. I don't get this "We'll take a draw (At HOME!) and take it back to the big club" mentality by the 'minnows', Exeter said it on Friday when they were in a fantastic position of winning, Eastleigh said it again fantastic chance of winning the game, I dare say Wycombe were saying it yesterday when let's be honest a kids team could probably beat Villa and Fazackerley has just said it when they got the game back to 1-1 he's just said "We'll take the FT whistle now and take this to Swansea" but they very realistically could go on and win it from here. I don't get it. Surely progressing in the cup is a payout, and potential big pay out if you get a big club away, rather than a replay where ok Liverpool might sell out (Plenty of daytrippers) but I can't see Bolton, Villa or Swansea getting much about 15,000 for the replay? Are they really gonna make that much money out of replay when in reality they probably aren't going to progress when you consider the 'minnows' will be away from home, e.t.c. Barring Wycombe, they stand a chance for the reason I gave above. For me given the positions the 'minnows' (feel like i'm disrespecting them saying that) have been in, even pre match, let alone the circumstances they've been in during their games i'd be going for the jugular, all out for the win, the draw wouldn't even enter the equation. Bolton probably need the money more than Eastleigh
Jaspa Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 What is it with Ipswich, they used to be rated as favourites nearly every season, theyve got an experienced manager and players that we somehow got linked with last year. They never do anything, always end up mid table and never impact Cups or news; they just exist in their element, it must be so weird to be a supporter of that

They basically are a a team made up of free transfers & loans. They got a fair bit of money for Mings & Cressewell but I'm not sure if they re-invested it in paying any transfer fees for anyone.

Yeah tbf I remember looking back last season where they had Freddie Sears and Richard Chaplow gunning around the playoffs in around April and the media were making out they were serious contenders for the playoffs Kinda went under my radar after that. I too find it strange. They seem to be happy to tootle along, but appear to lack any serious ambition to return to the top flight. A work colleague is a Norwich fan and reckons that the Canaries traumatised Ipswich with two thrashings a couple of seasons back....Tend to agree in that the Tractor Boys seem resigned to being 'number 2' in the East! I dont know him/her but someones surely gonna say that if they beat their main rivals a few times, just like we do with Derby. The Ipswich thing has been going on since they had Danny Haynes, there have been aspirations there and the bookies used to have them as favourites for consecutive seasons but now its like a deflated balloon occasionally fluttering around the room. Maybe Leicester have spoiled me and theyre all happy
Kitchandro Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Saw the Carlisle equaliser at Yeovil, two of their players should clearly have been sent off fr their part in the brawl and to add insult to injury a Yeovil player is sent off in Extra Time. I cannot believe referees sometimes.
Leicesterpool Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Well a few interesting ties in the fourth round, Derby and Man U tonight what do you reckon? For some reason I fancy Derby to pull of a shock tonight.
Loggy88 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Can see Derby drawing with United tonight, gonna go 1-1.
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I'd go for a draw if anything but can imagine Manchester United nicking it 0-1 or something similar.
