I understand it's the FA Cup and Exeter fans are up for this one but I'd go as far to say it's probably the best atmosphere I've heard at a ground in a long while.

Deserved replay at Anfield for Exeter - if it hadn't been for that defensive howler, they could already be through to the next round (I know all hypothetical, but still).

Good effort from the Exeter fans, thought I was back at the KP. Constant noise, well done, nice to see the youngsters on the front rows joining in. Thats what we need, a UFS apprentice scheme.

Oh, and good news for us, Pool have yet another game to fit in.

Just wondering will this reply have any effect on our game at home with Liverpool?

Well, they'll be playing twice every week from now until then, but as any FA cup 3rd round replays will be w/c 18th Jan, our league game won't need to be rearranged.

That penalty that Wycombe just scored... every time, the penalty scorer is described as cool, calm, great composure etc... it was a poor penalty and had the keeper dived the right way, he'd have bottled it, shocking penalty, etc.

Disagree, it's harsh but anywhere else on the pitch and that's a free kick.

You don't see to many of them given but Westwood has jumped in to the back of the player and not made any contact with the ball.

If it's a defender in the middle of the pitch it's a free kick no question, so for me although harsh, it is the correct call.

how much money do you actually get from a replay? say wycombe get to villa park, what if it's not on tele and you'd expect the attendance would struggle to top about 10k. are they going to get a hefty pay day? or is it just a cliche?

I was thinking that. Going to Anfield and you should see well over 30k in attendance, Villa have two home games before the replay, I doubt many will be flocking to the ground.

I can't see them making a huge amount unless it's on TV again.
