yorkie1999 Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Please don't sing the woah woah woh song, cos they sing it much better and then just take the Piss
FoxinNotts Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 I don't say the bloke can't adapt but I've seen no signs of him doing so yet. It's the old question isn't it! He will need game time to prove himself/adapt, yet he won't adapt if he's not on the pitch.
justfoxes Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Dyer Kante DD Albrighton Mahrez VARDY likely to be a real end to ender just Hoping our defence can deal with their attacking formation and Jamie VARDY can continue his fine scoring record !! I'll go for a city win 3-1 Vardy Mahrez DD !!
simon789us Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Going to be a tough game but should be a good one hoping for a clean sheet but I'd take a 5-4 to city
I blame Wellens Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Just no "We love you" chants. Drummer take note. Palace do it better. We do everything else better.
srbfox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 This will no doubt be a nil nil with neither team managing a shot on target. But I would take a 1-0 with a Kasper assist
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Arguably the best two home atmospheres in the league going head to head. In my opinion they do sing 'We love you' better than us, so wouldn't be overly keen on us singing it for this one really. Hoping for another great atmosphere and three points though
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Claudio seems to like playing the same squad if they're doing well, I reckon we'll start with our second half squad. Weird formation though it looked - were we playing Kante as the lone defender?I think he employs Kante to stay back at corners while the lummoxes go up now. He's got the requisite pace and ball winning ability to stop a counter, the theory being I presume, which I agree with. Second half at Southampton we were so dominant CR must have thought ' bollocks to it, we only need NG at the back, we can switch to the tried and test 1-9 formation.'
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 They're a very good side, very much like us, but more the fighting type. Cabaye's given them a solid backbone in midfield and they should not be underestimated. I'd play the same side that started today, but I'd equally like to see Inler given a chance in the league again (thinking that it's highly likely he'll start against Hull in the League Cup). No way Inler. After a great 2nd half performance how and why would you risk Inler. If it ain't broke don't try and fix it..,.and all that
EGBFitness Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Can imagine this ending 11-11 or something Palace are a really good side now and are probably one of the most like for like sides to us. Don't think CR will change starting line up and will bring Mahrez on at half time again. Their wingers worry me and whoever plays RB is going to get torn a new one. Fuchs at left back should cope but won't be able to come forward and support attacks much
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 They've got some quality players. Cabaye, Zaha, Bolasie, Sako just to name a few, and I really rate them as a side to be fair. Really looking forward to this.
EGBFitness Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 I think if both teams play their usual style of play it will be a great game for the neatrals. As a fan I can sense this one being a nerve wrecking experience
les-tah Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Benaloune can't be far away from a call up. I honestly think once he gets in at centre back we will all be asking ourselves why he wasnt in sooner!
The Railway Man Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Same team except Mahrez in for Schulpp and Ulloa in for Okazaki. Ulloa will be handy handy on defensive set plays as well.
ousefox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 This game really should be a cracker. Watching some of the games on the weekend makes me realise just how exciting we are. Imagine if we had got Tony Pulis
adam Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Just noticed Mike Dean is the ref. One way of ruining a good game .
Guest Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 At home, so a must win for any team with top half aspirations.
LanguedocFox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 I hate playing Palace. Even when they were crap they used to beat us. I remember going to Selhurst Park for a Fourth Round FA Cup tie in 1998, when they hadn't won at home all season apart, I think, from the Third Round, and Bruce sodding Dyer scored a hat-trick. I think it's going to be tough on Saturday. I'm glad Gayle will be out, but Pardew has Palace playing really good, fast football, and their forwards will be a hell of a challenge for our back-four. I think the same team that finished against Southampton, and really go at them from the off. I'd take a draw, but we have to try and win every game at home. I just hope Ranieri has the team practising defending set-pieces this week!
Domsdad Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 I honestly think once he gets in at centre back we will all be asking ourselves why he wasnt in sooner! In much the same way we are saying about Fuchs
suffolk fox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Just noticed Mike Dean is the ref. One way of ruining a good game . Yes, totally agree. Man is a grade a prat. One thing is for sure even if it is a nailed on pen for us we won't get one with him in charge. He hasn't forgiven us for Pearsons comments last season when he was called arrogant. Isn't going to be easy. Palace are a big physical side who tend to bully teams they have good wingers in Bolasie and Zaha but they play physically you have to match this as you get bullied. They also posses the worst ground in the premier league by far thank god we are at home.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Since when has Inler showed himself to be a good defender? He makes ill-considered, near-suicide passes deep in his own half when simple ones would have much less chance of being intercepted and, too often, he doesn't track the runners with enough urgency - if at all. So far he's looked far more suited to continental football in warm climates where there's less intensity and where the trend is to make the ball do the running. I don't say the bloke can't adapt but I've seen no signs of him doing so yet. Nailed it.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Just noticed Mike Dean is the ref. One way of ruining a good game . Ffs. This bloke is an utter disgrace as a referee. A London club win with his assistance is the most probable result imo.

weller54 Posted 20 October 2015 Author Posted 20 October 2015 This game is crying out for Was and Ulloa to play in.. Match their physicality!
Wymsey Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 This game is crying out for Was and Ulloa to play in.. Match their physicality! We can't have slow defenders with their pacey wingers.
