Got a feeling we'll win 1-0. Close game, two good attacking football sides, really looking forward to it. Two sides who have arguably the best atmospheres in the league, so the atmosphere added to the fact Palace are coming to our place should be superb. :scarf:

Palace have only two orthodox strikers available, Campbell and Bamford, due to injuries/suspension. Alan Pardew said "Whether I play two of them or one of them, it looks to me like one of them will feature for sure". Apparently Bamford hasn't played in the league this season.

Stat time

Leicester have enjoyed just one win in their six Premier League games against Crystal Palace, losing four and drawing one.

Crystal Palace have won nine of their last 12 Premier League away games (W9 D0 L3) – this after winning just nine of their previous 61 on the road in the top-flight.

In all league games, the Foxes are without a win in their last four meetings with Palace (D1 L3), with their last league victory against the Eagles coming in January 2012 (2-1 away).

On home soil, Leicester have lost their last two league encounters with Crystal Palace after avoiding defeat in the eight before that (W5 D3).

Jamie Vardy will be looking to become only the fifth different English player to score in 7+ successive Premier League games after Alan Shearer (7), Ian Wright (7), Mark Stein (7) and Daniel Sturridge (8)

Vardy has had a hand in 18 goals in his last 19 Premier League appearances (13 goals, five assists).

Leicester have won a league-high seven points from losing positions this season and have lost just one of the six PL games they've been behind in (W1 D4).

The Foxes have scored a league-high tally of six goals in the final 15 minutes of games this season.

Crystal Palace have conceded the highest proportion of goals in the final 15 minutes of Premier League games this season (50% - five of 10).

Palace have averaged 2.25 points per game away from home under Alan Pardew (W9 D0 L3), compared to 1.27 points per game at home (W6 D1 L8).

Probably means they'll stick Sako up top and bring one of them on later.

My neighbour is a Palace fan and he has some doubts about this one.......Told him nothing to worry about, there's always next week when they host Rooney and Co.

I don't like to be negative but I fear we may lose tomorrow, they were quite unfortunate to lose last week and I think we may get the backlash. Hope I'm wrong 1-2 Palace, Vardy to score.

This is a good stat as we usually push on in the last 15 and I remember them looking tired last week near the end, could be crucial.

Its bloody marvellous,

this weekend probably rightly, the media are looking at what are the 2 big games of the weekend ....

The Manchester Derby, and the Tyne -Wearside Derby.

The real revolutionary exciting game is Leicester vs Crystal Palace, not fighting for local pride, nor title relegation battle,

but something more important.Competing for Premier league credibility and modern age recognition.

The KP stinger, is far and away the best game of the week, and the media will be missing it..!!

The atmosphere will be cosmic, if you are going, value your ticket remember the day.

If city win this, the explosion will really put fear into the higher teams not because they fear losing, but will realise, that

a top 6 finish is no longer guarranteed, if Hammers and Eagles, can continue, after Saturday, the big clubs automatic top

4 could be in danger.

Brother, Hammers and Eagles, long live and vive la REVOLUTION .

I don't know what this guy is on, but I'll have some of it

Both the Derby games are on Sunday though, so the media won't really miss it, just won't hype it as much before.

After a long four week gap - during which three Rugby World Cup matches took place on the hallowed turf - it's finally a return to the King Power Stadium tomorrow as 6th placed Crystal Palace come to town to take on comeback kings Leicester City.

------------------------------------------------------------

What a mouthwatering prospect tomorrow's game is. Here's the preview, including a statistical look at the choice of wingers we have. Would be Dyer and Albrighton for me...just.

I'm worried that I'm really expecting us to win today. I usually just hope but today I feel like we really should beat them quite comfortably.

4-2 Leicester

Vardy x 2 (23, 67)

Dyer (52)

Drinkwater (85)

Cabaye (pen 35)

Bolasie (71)

Posted

5-2 Leicester

Okazaki (2), Vardy, King, Kante

Puncheon and Sako for them.

Don't let Jimmeh see that.

We'll be interesting to see if Dyer and Mahrez start.

I wonder if Raneiri will stay positive and go at them - I hope he does rather than pack the midfield and play vardy in an isolated role out of fear of their pace.

For me

Kasper

Huth Morgan Fuchs

Dyer Drinks Kante Schlupp

Mahrez

Okazaki Vardy

Oh come off it. So just because we're 5th we are without faults? Growth mindset requires you to continue to learn and improve. Ranieri has made plenty of mistakes tactically this season and without such faults we might not of had to chase games. The Bournemouth game was a typical example of that. We have gifted 2 goal leads to 3 teams this season now. If we played the second half performance from those games from the start we would have even more points now. How is that even debatable? Not to mention his refusal to use the formation we successfully ended last season with, which had us scoring goals and conceding few.

Don't get me wrong I like the job he has done, but I don't get the whole argument that Ranieri is a great tactician? Are people not seeing the first half performances? As for your attacking intent point, yes we started brightly but then when the goal doesn't come we get nervy and back off. Game after game, until there is no pressure when suddenly we are all over the opposition.

"If we played in the first half like we do in the 2nd" is an immensely simplistic argument though. It's like saying Usain Bolt could be the greates marathon runner ever by running the full 26 miles at the same pace as he can run 100m. That's an extreme analogy of course but hopefully you can see the point.

Like others I can't imagine a 0-0. I'm expecting 3-2 but 2-0 would be a boost to the defence, assuming the right pizza choice. I just don't see how we'll fail to concede without introducing more aerial strength.
