No way Inler. After a great 2nd half performance how and why would you risk Inler.

If it ain't broke don't try and fix it..,.and all that

Well, I could do without 45 minutes of pure disappointment and a lack of urgency - if you only look at the majority of our first-half performances.

There's a lot to improve in terms of dictating a game as opposed to chasing the score.

Luckily, Ranieri somehow's managed to fix the issue(s) at half-time more often than not. Good on him.

Inler needs games under his belt and I'm sure at some point one of our central midfielders is bound to hit a rough patch. Enter the Gökhan.

We've seen it with Fuchs - been kept out of the squad for a long time, now he's had the opportunity to show what he's really made of by playing from the start more often - I can see him start again as left-back on Saturday.

Since when has Inler showed himself to be a good defender? He makes ill-considered, near-suicide passes deep in his own half when simple ones would have much less chance of being intercepted and, too often, he doesn't track the runners with enough urgency - if at all.

So far he's looked far more suited to continental football in warm climates where there's less intensity and where the trend is to make the ball do the running.

I don't say the bloke can't adapt but I've seen no signs of him doing so yet.

I haven't seen a lot of those in a Leicester shirt. He usually starts his passing moves near the halfway line, never in the near vicinity of his own goalkeeper's box.

Has never done so in the past and never will do.

He does track opposing runners, he also fills in for others who've abandoned their own position (I can think of De Laet in particular on few occasions).

People need to see him play more often before they can come to a proper conclusion - you're being very rash and forgetful.

Got a feeling this is where we come crashing down to Earth.

These are a good side. Going to be a proper test for Drinkwater and Kante to show they are fully fledged Premier League midfielders.

I agree those saying Mahrez plays in the hole. We aren't gonna do them physicality, so let the likes of Mahrez and Dyer run at their defenders.

Surely got be some emphasis on set pieces at the training ground this week.

We've had our bubble burst by Palace around this time in each of the last 2 seasons in which we played them.

In 2012 we were flying (top?) when Palace came to the KP and won (pretty convincingly) 2-1. Jedinak had an absolute monster of a game for them.

In 2014 we went to Selhurst and lost a tight game 2-0 pretty much entirely due to their superiority at set pieces.

No way will this be a clean sheet.

What it will likely be:

Kasper (because who else :()

Fuchs

Huth

Wes

Simpson

Schlupp

Kante

DD

Albrighton

Mahrez

Vardy

What I'd like:

Kasper

Was

Huth

Wes

Schlupp

Kante

DD

Albrighton

Mahrez

Vardy

Ulloa

The defence wouldn't be very mobile, but I think they defend well as a unit and would be physical. Plus, we all know Was really is fast.

The midfield picks itself at the moment, Kante is great (when not giving the ball away) and DD is playing superbly. Bring Dyer on at half time if Schlupp is getting tired and not producing.

With three at the back we get to play Mahrez in behind the two strikers.

Ulloa can be the target man for Albrighton. Vardy can still do everything he's been doing because Mahrez can link the midfield to the forwards.

The only way this will be a clean sheet, if I have both teams to score, on a betting coupon lol

Love this, when it's not going right in the first half it's the players fault but it goes right in the second, and Claudio has fixed it. lol that's absolute gold. Maybe the players just feel less pressure when they are chasing a game with nothing to lose?

What annoys me is not once have we come out of the blocks and played the second half chasing a game style from the off. Claudio not thought that maybe that might keep us a clean sheet? Rather than setting us up to defend and keep it tight, which were shite at. Basically second half everyone goes we've nothing to lose so we go all out attack with loads of possession and suddenly we've kept a second half clean sheet. Not rocket science, do it from the start!

No doubt Claudio will be the hero though regardless of what he does.

I take it you were in a coma for the Sunderland, West Ham and Arsenal games. Even Stoke, Southampton and Norwich were games we made a positive start in.

Worth noting as well that we've played 4 of our last 6 matches away from home and one of the home games was arsenal. Rightly or wrongly teams are almost invariably set up to defend first and foremost.

That you'd find reason to criticise the tactical approach of a manager who's taken us to 5th after 9 games says more about your barmy expectations than it does about any tactical failing on Ranieri's part.

Unsure on who to play up front? Do we start the team that finished the game vs Southampton or do we replace Schlupp for Mahrez and keep Dyer as an impact player once again?

I'd like to see Ulloa given some more playing time, especially in a game like Palace but concede he's unlikely to start. Palace tend to have 3 very quick attacking midfielders in their side at any one time so I can see this being a very open game.

Schmeichel

Simpson

Morgan

Huth

Fuchs

Drinkwater

Kante

Dyer

Mahrez

Albrighton

Vardy

Subs: Benalouane, Ulloa, Schlupp, Inler, Kramaric, King, Schwarzer
