AKCJ Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Looking at some Leicester related videos on YouTube and stumbled upon this gem. First minute or so is just trademark Bernie. Post your best Bernie stories.
Fox92 Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 At West Brom away this season walking back (down the hill), well I was jogging, and he turned left and I knocked into him. I think his shouting was aimed at me for a few seconds
KFS Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Whilst I was collecting for Birch's run last season, he came up to me and was talking about how he's seen the Birch play. Dropped his season card, and when I picked it up I became his best mate bless him
jonthefox Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 On the way to West Ham , our bus passed his . I couldn't hear what he was shouting , but he was giving us the finger . I wonder if he knew we were city fans too ?.
tom27111 Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but many years ago in the kop, I had the misfortune of taking a piss next to Bernie in the urinals. Long story short, I basically got completely covered in his piss. Bernie can fu*K off.
Buzzell Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Everytime I've seen him all he seems to say is '**** the Derrrrbeeehhhhh!' Or 'Waaaaaaaaaaaaa......waaaaaaaaaaaa' Well something like that Oh and I know I'm stating the obvious but he always smells of piss. Bless him.
DEMANN Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 He's sometimes in Hughies Cafe on match days. Absolute nause. Awful table manners.
Mike Oxlong Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Almost certainly holds down a regular job. I reckon he works for HMRC.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Haven't seen him this season. Pleased to hear he's still on fine form.
promised land Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Awful table manners. You're surprised by that are you? TBH, I don't think he's as stupid as he makes out, puts it on a bit. He always knows when and where we're playing, manages to get to games, not always by coach either so can get around on his own. Never spoken to him personally and never will, the bloke needs hosing down.
Out Foxed Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Club should provide him with some clean gear
Buzzell Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 I think the club should provide him with a new hat. Preferably a beanie with the logo on it that looks like the shirt. Dapper Bernie.
tomlcfc01 Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Was at the Southampton home game last season and he went up to a group of about 14-16 year old Southampton fans and shouted several times "Your f**cking shit, you have came all this f**ckinh way for nothing" The man speaks the truth!
VLC86 Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Haven't seen him this season. Pleased to hear he's still on fine form. Saw him at West Brom looking like a corpse...... As fresh as ever.
Benguin Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 He must have a proper job, home and away ain't cheap
LCFC FOX Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Sheffield Wednesday **** off! Is one of the better videos
Buzzell Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 He must have a proper job, home and away ain't cheap He's probably a secret millionaire.
filbertstreet Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 He's probably a secret millionaire. ever seen him and the thais in the same room?
Kitchandro Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Forget where it was, I think possibly Derby two seasons ago. This pub was rammed full of raucous City fans, huge queue to the bar. All of a sudden it goes a bit quiet an the crowd parts like the red sea. There's Bernie at the door and as he staggers to the bar everyone acts like it's the 30th pass of a move when we're 4-0 up. 'Whooooooooooooaaa Wheeeyy!'
Head Honcho Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Bernie was featured in the match programme about 30 years ago. Had a decent job at the time accountancy or something like that but obviously retired now with a nice pension to follow the city. Fair play to him. I think I heard somewhere that he had a nice pad in the Loughborough area that he sold for a decent profit.

I think I heard somewhere that he had a nice pad in the Loughborough area that he sold for a decent profit. I was a programme geek for years, had all of them and went to fairs to buy all of the ones I didn't have from the 80s when I was just a wee lad. Can you enlighten us on when he featured? Was it in the 'Mitty of the City' era? (Please ignore this if you're under 30, or don't waste money on programmes).
