Bluetintedspecs Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Just amazing and we're getting better! Not as many years as Thracian but in my 46 this is the best all round for flair and excitement and that is a bold statement but I firmly believe it! Get the **** in Scousers, can't wait for MOTD We're top of the league We're top of the league We're Leicester City We're top of the league
Babylon Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Made me laugh when he said in the press he was going to stop Vardy. How did you get on with that pal? Liked how he said he didn't know who was quicker, like he'd forgotten him skinning him constantly in the last game!!
Brooksy Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Oh my god we're staying top for a week. mental
My Nads Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 I hope Shearer is on MOTD later and Gary really rubs in it!
Babylon Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 We were brilliant, I'm sure it has a been said. What a time to support us.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 13 games in and top... 7 points clear of fifth... this is me on football manager
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 We were brilliant, I'm sure it has a been said. What a time to support us. The football we are playing is class, better than the o'neill side to watch that is for sure
EnglishOxide Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 I'd imagine the players must be relishing these big games coming up. No pressure, enjoy it and see what happens. Bet Sky can't believe their luck for next weeks game! I honestly think in the back of their minds they have a taste for silverware. They want success, whether it's top ten, Europe or league title. Big pictures all around our club of us lifting the League 1 trophy and Championship trophy in recent years can only contribute to a positive atmosphere. I just can't see anybody resting on their laurels. Vardy, Drinkwater, Huth and Kasper are characters who are too motivated than to see us slacking off. They have been with us through harsh spells and will give their all to prevent it happening again.
Thracian Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Telling stat -- Newcastle ZERO shots on goal. At home in front of 50,000 plus. What a compliment for our defence! I can remember us going up there in the Kevin Keegan/Andy Cole days and wondering if we could stop em scoring six. We didn't! We lost 7-1 including six before half-time!.
My Nads Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 I wonder how many new fans (ex Chelsea) we will have this week! Lets keep an eye out for any new fans on here!
blueharmie Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 I think today's line up is our best. Fuchs and Simpson have made a big difference in defence, and Huth and Morgan have improved because of it. We played some seriously fantastic football today. The one touch passing was sublime at times, little back heels and all sorts going on out there. I honestly think this is the best Leicester side I've seen in my 44 years as a fan. Pass the Andrex!!! Well said.
orangecity23 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 My face looks like Okazaki's did after he scored, and it doesn't appear to be able to change. Might be broken. SOOO GOOD.
dedlock Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Don't you just love Ranieri! When he first came here he could hardly speak the language. Now he's complaining we were too "phrenetic" at first. What a gem....it's great the way everyone keeps improving! Enormous credit has to go to the manager. When CR came in he was seen by the media as a figure of fun, the tinkerman who had just failed with a poor Greek side. The team has evolved and improved under his management and have deservedly suceeded.
Babylon Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 The football we are playing is class, better than the o'neill side to watch that is for sureYeah I'd say so. We were good and might have reached this point, but there was a lot more grinding out results from that team.
Bazly Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Second clean sheet is a good marker ahead of the Man U game next week which might be top against second. Paul Merson on the Sky Sports roundup is starting to believe in the team and odds on winning the league are tumbling, last week 750-1 and now 200-1. If the team beats Man U next week, the bookies will start to sweat.. If found the game strangely flat watching online today. It was so one sided it seemed to be just going through the motions. Checked the Toon forum and they are generally bordering on suicidal.
lifted*fox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Liverpool playing the 'Leicester way'. Superb football.
NewquayFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, the way we play our football is so refreshing...... Up the City....
My Nads Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 What a day!! Everything has gone perfectly for us!
Spudulike Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Get that upper tier built, Top. So many missing out on this. Season tickets are worth their weight in gold... and I've got one
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Not sure if that was our best performance of the season or Newcastle were the worse team we've played. 8s and 9s all round. I feel sorry for Ulloa, he must have thought his goal would get him a start next week and then Okazaki does the same. Ulloa deserves the start. Not trying to slate okazaki at all here, but if he starts before Ulloa next week it's criminal, Both of their goals aside, Okazaki offered nothing in his cameo, Ulloa was not painting newcastle blue but he made a better contribution albeit with more time played today. Again people know my opinion on okazaki, but nobody can argue he deserves to start infront of Ulloa after today. Leo looked decent.
