NewEnglandFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 We've matched our away points haul from last year: 14/15: 4-3-12 15/16: 4-3-0
tom27111 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 And whilst i'm not drawing comparison's, getting carried away or even being serious but didn't Ranieri turn Monaco round from Ligue 2 to a 2nd place finish in Ligue 1? True. But amongst his signings were Abidal Carvalho Moutinho James Rodriguez Toulalan Falcao Martial
orangecity23 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 True. But amongst his signings were Abidal Carvalho Moutinho James Rodriguez Toulalan Falcao Martial Made some tidy profits when they sold James and Martial.
Eastwellfox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Crazy but i will now be disapointed if we dont al least achieve a champions league place this season.
Number 6 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Crazy but i will now be disapointed if we dont al least achieve a champions league place this season. Yep, crazy.
Steven Posted 21 November 2015 Author Posted 21 November 2015 Crazy but I will now be disappointed if we don't at least finish achieve a champions league place this season eighth or higher.
Babylon Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Kante 10.Is that the number of interceptions he made in the first three minutes!
fuchsntf Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 We stay top... 1-4 liverpool. I knew my old BVB boss would come good..
HitchinFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 I can't remember one single mistake (apart from that ridiculous chaaaaaaarge-jump-shit-missed-it) moment from Fuchs – that we made today. Maybe a couple of slightly misjudged passes in their half, which by the very definition weren't a threat defensively. 1. We didn't miss any sitters (although created enough to score more, but no clear "should've scored that" moments).2. No cockups in midfield leading to them getting possession in threatening positions/scoring. 3. No bad decisions in defence which lead to a chance for the Toon. That, in my mind, is one of the biggest differences when comparing this to last season. We've matured. Mostly due to players maturing and adjusting to Premier League (Vardy, Ulloa, Drinkwater, Morgan, Mahrez), the addition of some crucial solidity and experience (Fuchs, Kante and Huth to some extent) and the acquisition of confidence to players who have played at this level before (Schmeichel, Simpson, Albrighton).Amazing achievement to have 28 points at this stage. 12 away from safety - and that's what we should still concentrate on. Get to 40 and kick on. Europe, here we come.
My Nads Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Crazy but i will now be disapointed if we dont al least achieve a champions league place this season. It's not crazy at all. I'd also feel pretty disappointed if we don't win the league now.
Phube Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 We are now the League's top scorers! What a season!
Robin JD Popley Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!! Jamie can really get his party kick started now that Liverpool have done us a favour too... Stuff that fairytales are made of!
Babylon Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 It's not crazy at all. I'd also feel pretty disappointed if we don't win the league now.I'll be disappointed if we don't at least reach the champions league semis next season.
AyewJoking Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 dont get carried away, still got december to come where we are going to lose all our games
My Nads Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 I'll be disappointed if we don't at least reach the champions league semis next season. Semis?!!! Are you mad?!! We'll win it!
My Nads Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 dont get carried away, still got december to come where we are going to lose all our games Oh yeah, I forgot we are going to lose every game now...bollocks! If we are winning the league by 5 points with two game to go, they would still be saying we wont win, but there would be one pundit who goes out on a limb and says something like "you know what? ...Leicester aren't a bad side" as if they are the only person in the world that has realised that.
weller54 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 dont get carried away, still got december to come where we are going to lose all our games A bit of Christmas cheer!
TrentFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Said this weeks ago..God knows how the wally is still in a job. We really do look the real bloody deal! I'm glad he is because that job has NFP written large all over it. And that could be tempting for 'his' team here.
Strokes Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 This time last season we were stuck at the bottom of the table, what an amazing turnaround.
Webbo Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 We've gained 6 goals on Man City;s GD as well. today couldn't have gone much better.
leicesterseddon Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Didn't go but watched it on a stream. A really good performance, and completely dominated them from the second half onwards. It's true that Newcastle looked awful though, independently of us keeping them quiet. Their players were barely even chasing the ball even at 2-0 down. December is going to be a very difficult month, but let's just enjoy being top of the table for the time being.
