Been out of circulation all day and knew nothing of how this was going until about 30 minutes ago. Don't know what to read first on here !! Simply astonishing. Astonishing. It's is real, isn't it ????

What. Is. Life?

Cannot believe what is happening. Already thinking about next Saturday as if it were about to kick off now. Atmosphere could be the best yet.

Kante...no words.

Vardy...hero.

Honestly can't get over things at the moment.

I'm glad he is because that job has NFP written large all over it. And that could be tempting for 'his' team here.

I can see why leaving the best team in Europe for the worst in the Premier League would be an attractive proposition...

Check out mersons game summary on Skysports, bigs us up, lad.

It's hilarious, "snatch and grab", "when I'm on holiday reading a ladybird book".

thought this for ages - they need someone to rebuild the club from top to bottom like Pearson did here. Plus he's worked there before. Dunno if the 'team' would be tempted tbh, the way we're playing, but Nige would definitely be an excellent fit for them

Right fvcking pissed that I missed the clean sheet due to a pre-planned day trip for a wilderness hike with the girlfriend.

What a difference a year makes. Proudly wearing my kit to a brewery opening this afternoon for a couple of pints and a pizza dinner.

If we win all our remaining games, we're champions.

It's in our own hands.

Top post. Never really thought of it like that lol

Kante and Fuchs incredible today. Whole team played great.

Funny how when we beat a team the pundits say that, that team did not play well. But when another teams beats the same team they look awesome? Just asking the question.

Just superb football today by the entire team. May it long continue.

Interesting thing for me is that no matter how much credit we get, nobody outside city fans mentions Kante. Been up the with vards and mahrez this season and for some reason nobody mentions him.

It's not like he's a quiet player, he's everywhere!

Got a fair bit of mention on the stream I was watching today. If he dosn't get mentioned on motd tonight it will be criminal.

I know Vardy will get all the plaudits (deservedly) but Mahrez was absolutely unplayable today. He has to be up there with the most talented we have ever seen at LCFC

The only thing that would have made today better would have been a Mahrez goal. He deserved one.

I thought Kanté was even better - the way he commanded his area, charging back and forth, intercepting left and right and putting in some of the best clean tackles you'll ever see.

But to be fair, it's a team game and they all played very well today.

Easiest away win I can remember in 15 years of watching us, which is ridiculous when you think we've been in League 1 in that time.

I didn't think we even played that well. Probably a middling performance by this season's exceptionally high standards but we were helped by an extremely poor Newcastle side.

That said, I do think that the fact that they never had a moment to settle on the ball meant that Newcastle weren't able to get into the game - that it took us 45 minutes to take the lead was a minor travesty because we'd been comfortably the best side in the first side.

Second half was more one-sided still: Vardy was extremely wasteful on 2 or 3 occasions when his usual intelligent running and persistence had garnered chances. Newcastle barely threatened all game.

Man of the match was undoubtedly Kante, who played with the energy of 3 men and won countless tackles and made innumerate interceptions.

Vardy and Mahrez were good as usual whilst Morgan has turned into an unbelievably accomplished Premier League centre back.

I'm starting to think we can finish top 6; realistically we need another 35-40 points to do that but if we keep playing like this we've got a chance.

Nice to see both Okazaki and Ulloa on the scoresheet too - Vardy and Mahrez had scored a freakish amount of our recent goals and it's nice to be reminded we've got goals elsewhere too.

Absolutely surreal to be top of the league.

Oh, and a special shout out to the Radio Newcastle co-commentator who I was listening to on the way home who said (twice) that he wouldn't take any Leicester players in the Newcastle squad.

You have to admire his graciousness towards us in the midst of his absolute and total frustration. We've all been there and know what a crap place it is to be.

Certainly the three matches in 2015 which has seen a 7-0 aggregate win for us (well below what it could and should've been- they were lucky to get nil combined whilst we should've had many more) have proved that they are a top side and we are lower league cloggers.

Agreed Kante was also absolutely brilliant. The whole team is just class. I love the fact Kante is not really talked about as if clubs start to take notice he would be hot property. He is exactly what arsenal and United have been looking for, for a long time.
