HighPeakFox Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 It's a bit like asking who your favourite child is, unfair and almost impossible I know. But do you have a favourite amongst these, whether obvious or otherwise? For me, it is so hard to say, but the 1st at Soton for some reason, followed up by the 1st vs Arsenal. I've left the penalties out for reasons I think you'll understand..........
lgfualol Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 1st vs Arsenal was probably the best goal he's scored for us imo. My fav.
Brooksy Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 West Brom. From our box to 1-3 in about 5 seconds
steveherbe Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 2nd vs Soton. Closely followed by his 1st, a Steve Howard-esque bullet header. What a bloody player, best goal scorer I've seen at City since..... best goalscorer I've seen at City in 60 years. Good shout for the wba goal as well, brilliant team goal
urban.spaceman Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 FOUR that stand out are Palace, Man Utd, WBA and his 1st Arsenal goal. Palace for that brilliant little dink over the keeper before smashing it in, Man Utd for the fact that it came from their corner and there were about 7 touches between leaving Kasper's hands and hitting the back of their net; plus his complete lack of pressure for such a massive goal. Such a brilliant team goal, WBA was such a simple move, from our box to theirs in about 5 seconds, great teamwork with Drinkwater then smashing it in at a difficult angle, But the Arsenal goal probably gets it for me - a brilliant pass from Drinkwater, great initiative and skill to control it with his head at pace, then to smash it round the keeper. Just brilliant.
Dan Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 I thought WBA was the best goal we've scored all season, but the elation about Saturday was unreal. It might have even topped his goal v them last year.
Len Finsbury Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Man Utd for me. The swiftness of the attack from KS collecting it, the pass from Fuchs was out of this world, and the finish against one of Europe's best goalies was sublime. And it was against Man Utd, and it was the one that got the PL record! (I've added PL so people realise that I know he hasn't broken the Flintstones one yet)
Hollism Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Said at the time that his goal at The Hawthorns was the definition of a Jamie Vardy goal. The pass from Fuchs on Saturday was insane, but his first against Arsenal was probably the best. I'd have to pick the WBA one as my favourite though.
Koke Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 For me it's WBA. It's actually a really underrated goal. From our box to their box in 5 seconds, slick one touch movement that carved up West Brom with such elegance and precision. That goal really epitomises everything about Leicester City at the moment. The 1st v Arsenal was a superb goal, the control with his head and curled into the far corner Henry-esque, but I'm a more team goal than solo effort type of person hence I prefer he WBA goal.
TheMightySystem Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 I picked Newcastle just because of his movement to beat the defender and the composure to finish in the bottom left corner with such accuracy and power. Can see the reasoning though behind WBA goal, close second for me.
Littletoe Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Newcastle for me aswell. That cut in and drilled in shot bottom left corner, oh my...
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 WBA for me. He was about 4th furthest away from the ball
AndWhat? Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 The little dink over the keeper against Palace for me. He knew exactly what he was doing
HighPeakFox Posted 1 December 2015 Author Posted 1 December 2015 I entirely agree about nearly all of these comments, on different days I have different favourites. Maybe I should have allowed 3 votes.............
Finnegan Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 The little dink over the keeper against Palace for me. He knew exactly what he was doing Yeah I was going to say that. Very clever finish.
AKCJ Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 West Brom or Newcastle. Both tremendous finishes to tremendous moves.

The late winner was the catalyst for the great escape. This season it must be v Man Utd. That pass from Christian Fuchs was ridiculous!
Ric Flair Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Team move wise the Villa goal was up there with the West Brom one as well. The way Mahrez developed that opening was sublime, as was Drinkwater (I think) ball across for Vardy to poke in. That Arsenal goal really cemented his place amongst the best strikers in the league, it's when I thought wow he's really on it this season.
DennisNedry Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 West Brom for me. Excellent team play to set Vardy away then his lightening pace leaving the defenders for dead. Composed clinical finish. I also love the MOTD commentary for it and him giving it large to the WBA fan in the crowd
nnfox Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Can we do the vote when the run is over? He is still going, I just hope that he doesn't think that the job is done now that he has the record. I'm sure he won't but I'm convinced us fans can help him continue. Personally, I'd like him to carry on scoring for the next 24 games. In the meantime, my favourite goal in the run so far was his first v Arsenal. GREAT touch on his head from the long pass and a clinical finish. The WBA goal was awesome too. Great pace and awareness.
