Ashley Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Southampton or Newcastle. Saints goal this lad level with him constantly giving me shit all game in saints end the look on his face when all leicester were bouncing on the netting when we scored priceless
Captain... Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Just watching them back they are all quality... Love the West Brom goal though, the lay off to Drinky the perfect pass back, then he still had a lot of work to do and did so well, just an unstoppable goal that no team could have prevented without fouling.
Simmo86 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Palace His finish for that goal is massively underrated.
Captain... Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Palace His finish for that goal is massively underrated. Great little dink and follow up, but it all came from a mistake so it is hard to put it above goals against Man U, Arsenal, West Brom as they were great finishes with great approach play and a team contribution.
LCCFox96 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Vs Newcastle. The cut inside was so well executed and finished with drill into the bottom corners in front of our fans. Lovely link up play with Ulloa in the build up too. That being said the goal against West Brom was quality as well. Absolutely blistering pace to break free after some neat play with Drinky and hammered across the keeper for a finish. United was special as well, breaking a United player's record against them was something we won't likely see ever again. Actually come to think of it, I quite liked all of them tbqh.
VLC86 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Soton 2nd just for the scenes at the end but for quality I would say his first V Arsenal. What a player.
Countryfox Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 We have now started giving names to storms, which I think is a great idea .. (Barney blew my tree down !) ... So, as this is such an historic event why don't we name Vardys goals ...
M0901 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Newcastle, confidence personified, only one thing on his mind when he received Ulloa's pass Brilliant strike
Oxfordfox83 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 We have now started giving names to storms, which I think is a great idea .. (Barney blew my tree down !) ... So, as this is such an historic event why don't we name Vardys goals ... We'd run out of names mate...
Stevosevic Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 The WBA and Newcastle goals really were first class.
Countryfox Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 We'd run out of names mate... Boring bugger ! Amy Bert Chris Dave Eddie Fay Gazza Henry Izzy Jake Katey .... There I've started you off .... surely you can improve on that !
Beliall Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Newcastle, Made the goal out of nothing, and took it so well
Captain... Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Surprised United goal is winning, I always feel that the keeper getting something on it makes it a poorer goal. Arsenal and West Brom are very similar in terms of counter attacking, but with a much cleaner finish.
kushiro Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 What a great thread. I've been waking up in the night recently with my mind replaying my favourite moments from the sequence. His body shape for the Newcastle goal - like a gymnast swinging over the pommel horse. The way he totally blooted the Southampton equaliser. The build up to the Villa goal. In the end, I voted for the West Brom goal - doesn't matter how many times I see it, it still sends shivers down the spine - a bit like that famous Gareth Edwards try for the Barbarians. I'd like to mention one other moment. The Watford goal - not the penalty but that gorgeous cushioned ball control from Morgan's long pass that preceded it. It's hardly been mentioned, but that touch was another sign of his fantastic technical ability.
promised land Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 The next one Exactly, the run is still ongoing. I feel privileged to have seen every one.
Haydos Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 1st v Arsenal is the best but Man U is my fav purely for the broken record and how ****ing mental I went.
Dickov22 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 The best was his 1st against Arsenal but I agree with Dan - the Man Utd one topped his goal against them last year. Very emotional!
Bamba's Babes Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 The Utd goal purely because of what it meant. It meant so much.
HighPeakFox Posted 1 December 2015 Author Posted 1 December 2015 Nice to have a thread where I agree with absolutely everyone. I may remodel this thread if/when the streak ends, maybe use the data here to have a shorter list
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 West Brom for me. Always prefer an away goal.
Guest Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Loved the Palace goal. Over the keeper beautifully then smashed it home.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Palace for me. That dink. Wow. Most technical of all his goals imo other than Newcastle where he needed to create the opening.
