Mark Lawrenson's Predictions

I am looking forward to this absolute tools prediction that Leicester will lose at Swansea. Does he actually watch football anymore, or just live off the so called big clubs results from years ago? In isolation, his backing of Man Utd to win at the weekend, could arguably have been a good call. But with Leicester on fire, Vardy going for the record, a noisy home crowd, a mid-week game previously for Utd and the fact they aren't that special anymore, deserved at least a predicted draw.

He even had Newcastle to get a draw at Palace and after I watched them last week, admittedly from a great height, I was shaking my head even before they got pummelled.

Is he just lazy and out of touch, or what is his problem?

Actually, here lies the problem.....

He'll probably predict we will win and we will then go and lose and it will all be his fault.

...but he thought we would lose to Newcastle! Need I say more?

Out of memory, I think the only time he thought we would win was when we played in form West Ham away! He really hates them for some reason.

I predict his prediction this week will go something like this.

"Leicester have been fantastic this season. They will go 2-0 up early on through Kramaric and Inler, but I just fancy the home side to come back after half time and steal the points. 8-2 Swansea."

I can honestly say that I don't give a shit whether Mark Lawrenson  or any other pundit thinks we'll win or not. Their opinions have no influence over our position in the league and as such are completely irrelevant.

... and West Brom and Palace and Watford..... and when we eventually lose he'll be able say "I told you so". T W A T

This tosser really doesn't deserve his own thread. I couldn't give a rats ass about him or his predictions. Completely irrelevant and I don't pay any attention to what he says. Another BBC plonker along with Garth Crooks and Danny Mills.

Whenever I think of Mark Lawrenson I think of this. Such uncanny impressions, especially the camp Lawrenson

Would have been amazing if it wasn't for the textbook Brummie accent on Lineker.

Who cares what score he predicts. It doesn't influence our performance or the full time result.

Seems fair to blame him if we lose.

People do realise that they are only predictions right? They dont actually matter or mean it will come true. Mark Lawrenson isn't God, he can't dictate the future.

I think it's the fact that he's paid handsomely to be a "football expert" and he phones in the only regular part of his job that irks me.

You could replace that feature with some actual analysis of the weekend's games for probably 10% of the cost. That's licence fee payer money let's not forget.
