HighPeakFox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 I suspect a lot of pressure is now off JV. As several others have suggested, the team should now get more deserved attention.
MC Prussian Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We are staying up say we are staying up!! Eight more points to go. Could happen right at the end of December. Imagine, unbelievable scenes.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Great result, after Drinkwaters performance last week, what a game he had today, fantastic. Very pleased for the lad, him and Kante are key to this team. Hats off to Riyad as well, great goals.
ealingfox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 On the other hand our finishing was poor today. Should have had at least 5, and we were giving away a lot of silly fouls. Gutted for Vardinho but have to say its his own doing. Had to bury that one on one. Hope he responds well because we'll be needing some goals over the next few games. This is really crazy.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Too much talk about our players not liking it... , Kante. Drinkwater, Vardy and Mahrez... even Fuchs... got to keep them all in January and I think we will
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 This is truly absolutely outstanding. Another amazing win! So happy for Mahrez with the hattrick and that goes to show the quality we have around the team. Vardy and Mahrez now the top Premier League's goalscorers. 32pts. 32 goals. Wonderful stuff.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 A very good ball through from Kante for Mahrez's second, even if it was arguably offside. Nicely taken goal though.
ScouseFox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 paul merson just said danny drinkwater was the best centre mid in the country what a fella
rascal Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 What has happened this season? Did last season flatter you? You've done very well in the Premier League- one of the smallest stadiums, no billionaire owners yet this is the first real relegation battle and half your seasons have been in the top half. Is the squad weaker? Players not putting the effort in? I'm sure Foxes don't want to hear about our woes ;-) Sounds like Monk has some issues with a few players and by all accounts has lost the players' respect. Shelvey back after a ban but not even on bench today. Monk did amazingly well last season. He's a Jack through and through and it's painful seeing this happen - I didn't jump on the 'Monk out' bandwagon after 4-5 games without a win but it's looking bleak right now. Not looking forward to Mon as I work with quite a few Leicester fans :-(

Foxhateram Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We scored from a corner!!!!!! An amazingly well worked corner at that! With one of the smallest players on the pitch ironically. Gutted Vardy didn't get his goal but a great game in all and some brillient finishes from mahrez. Top of the league, 6 points clear of 5th and 2 points clear of 2nd. A goal difference of +11 after scoring 32 goals and having two players in double figures. All after 15 games. This really is stuff dreams are made of. This squad really is unbelievable! Just also seen that we are 9 points clear of 6th. Amazing.
cityfanlee23 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 That was nowhere near our best performance of the season, it was just that Swansea were almost as bad as Newcastle. We should have scored at least five and our 'unclinical' finishing was quite frustrating. However we won and we know we can play better so it doesn't matter too much. I thought Albrighton had a relatively poor game and Ulloa was as pointless as a player can be, but apart from that 7s and 8s all around. Agree with this, We were decent today, but I think if swansea had of turned up we'd have been scraping a win, They were an absolute disgrace today and it made us look good. I actually saw a hell of a lot of individual mistakes today with misplaced passes, silly tackles (19 fouls I think someone said) and some poor decision making. but to say all that and still come away with a 3-0 win, top of the league and 3 points in the bag speaks volumes.

I agree about Ulloa, he was a bit of a donkey today. I'd like to see King play there for longer to see if it looks good or not.
Daz93 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We're now top scorers in the division, with 3 clean sheets in 6 games. I'm almost starting to believe.
My Nads Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 A very good ball through from Kante for Mahrez's second, even if it was arguably blatantly offside. Nicely taken goal though. by a mile, but who cares!
Dr The Singh Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 I'm seriously worried about some.of top players, they are getting more and more attention. I hope we can keep them
NGoloMode Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 paul merson just said danny drinkwater was the best centre mid in the country what a fella He's not even the best CM in our team!
urban.spaceman Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Two points clear at the top of the league. Six points clear of 5th place. Nine points clear of 6th place. Twenty-two points clear of the relegation zone. Eight points off our safety target after only 15 games. A hatrick from one of our stand-out players this season. What a time to be alive. (Bit concerned about Vardy's goal drought though)

I hope we can keep them I think we've managed to sign the kind of players that believe enough in what we're doing to want to see it through rather than take a big bucks move away to shoe-in winners.

Ozwin Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We'll keep them until the summer at least. Why would they leave if we're still around top in January? Mahrez has got plenty of time and will be offered a huge deal, Vardy is Leicester and will be given a bumper deal too. Think we have a while before it all goes tits up!

NewEnglandFox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 He's not even the best CM in our team! No. I'm with Merson on this one. Drinky is a true box-to-box CM, Kanté is much more defensively minded.
