All the focus can be off Vardy's back now...... Leicester City as a whole can be the talking point.... and Vardy can start another run...... AND..... He's got the record!!!

Great result but bit miffed for Vards.

Isn't Garry Monk a little bitch? Said our first goal was handball, yeah maybe if your defender could actually put a ball out for a throw in there wouldn't be a corner see you in Job Centre Plus, mate.

Another clean sheet. What a difference since Simpson & Fuchs came in. Got to give them both massive credit. This is a real team with excellent performances throughout.

Drinky was everywhere today. The commentators on the feed couldn't stop talking about him. The lad can't be far away from an England call up, he done more then ligard and Mason.

Definitely disappointed that the streak is over for Vards but it had to end at some point. Could be a blessing in disguise now that it won't be this overarching concern we have during every game. Be nice to sub him out, if possible, when games are decided.

That was nowhere near our best performance of the season, it was just that Swansea were almost as bad as Newcastle.

We should have scored at least five and our 'unclinical' finishing was quite frustrating.

However we won and we know we can play better so it doesn't matter too much.

I thought Albrighton had a relatively poor game and Ulloa was as pointless as a player can be, but apart from that 7s and 8s all around.

It's hard to judge our performances in games where we dominate the opposition as much as we did today and against Newcastle. If Ulloa and Vardy had notched a goal each, I would say it would have been the complete performance.

Albrighton assisted the first and was his usual energetic self. Agreed, his crosses weren't that good, but conditions could be a slight excuse for this.

Actually thought Ulloa was far, far more effective than Okazaki has been. Yes, I know they don't play the same roles, but Ulloa harried and chased as much as Shinji does, albeit only slightly more clumsily. He won many headers and linked up superbly with Mahrez throughout. A couple of crucial defensive headers too, and thought his performance was only let down by one or two poor decisions and a terrible finish from a great position.

Ironically, Mahrez' wastefulness was somewhat more infuriating and it speaks volumes that when you consider he got 3 goals!!

A 3-0 away at Swansea is not as good a result this season as it would have been in previous seasons - frankly we'd make anyone look shit hot at the moment. You're doing very well at the moment - enjoy it while it lasts. There's no way you'll go down but this talk of 'possibly' winning the league is slightly deluded...you'll finish in the top half - every team has a slump at some point. At this rate though you're far more likely to be in the top flight next season than we are....I fully expect so load of shit to be hurled my way now so don't disappoint

:fishing:    You aint catching me.

Think we'll keep hold of both Vardy and Mahrez in January. Call me an optimist but I just can't see them moving.

Can see us losing Mahrez in the summer if a bigger club comes in for him though. Wouldn't really begrudge him the move either.

Real question is - if we're still in the top 4 by early January, do the owners get the chequebook out?

I know CR hasn't said we're looking for anyone but it must be tempting; we're in such a good position to invest...

SCOTT ARFIELD OVER ANY OF OUR WINGERS

Mahrez scores a hat-trick in a 3 nil win over Swansea what puts us top of the premier league.

Scott Arfield gets subbed in the 77th minute in a 2 nil home defeat to Preston.

I thought DD was magnificent today. Ran the show from start to finish.  Ulloa was fine in the support role. He really should have got on the score sheet also.

Onwards and upwards we go.
