Feeling less relevant after a bad week or so of results, but here we go:

Also record targets aside, 90 points has been enough for automatic promotion in every single Championship season so here's a comparison on that:

Obviously, with all 4 teams on pace for around that amount or more, this season will likely require more than 90 for the autos...

"What I've noted looking up this game, which really surprised me, is they've [Leicester City] only scored 11 goals at the King Power Stadium,"

"That's fewer than the rest of the top seven, it's nine less than Plymouth, who are 19th, and it's less than Rotherham who are in the relegation zone."

I mean are teams going to Plymouth and Rotherham and sticking 11 behind the ball and timewasting the moment they have something to hold on to? We're punting teams left and right away from home because there's the pressure to actually play football from their home fans

Plymouth haven't scored 20 goals at the King Power.

We've conceded 10 goals in 17 league games. I think after 17 games last season it was about 30 goals conceded.  No one in any other English league comes close to this.

Amazes me most of our fans don't see the positives in this following what happened last season.

But, we have the 2nd highest goals scored in the Championship, so it's not as if we have achieved this parking the bus.

Fully with you that we boast a terrific defensive record but we shouldn't compare to PL football last year. Completely different quality of opponents.

We should just look at this season in isolation and it's a very good record. A lot of it is down to how we play and team performance rather than having the best individual defenders in the league, and that's how it should be.

Some intersting records ending or created across all four divisions:

PL: Man C winning run at Etihad ends after 23 games. (And Haaland takes fewer PL dames to reach 50 goals )

Burnley - First PL team to lose first  7 home games in a season. (Newport did similar in 1971 in old div 4)

Championship - Ipswich first away defeat this season. Failed to score for first time in 36 matches.

League 1: Portsmouth run of 27 undefeated games ends (with a 4-0 home defeat!)

League 2 - Stockport  did not win for first time in 13 games in bottom tier. . (They only equalled Luton record of 12 games; who themselves  had registered first home win in PL.)

48 points to go for probably automatic promotion. 16 wins out of 29 games. Given ourselves a ton of room for maneuver. Leeds and Southampton currently on track for 87 and 84 points respectively.

We're currently on 2.5 points per game, we need 1.7.

We're dropping 0.5 points per game, we can afford to go up to 1.3

We can still get mathematically the magic 107 points ;)

65 points needed

19 wins and 8 draws (2 losses)

20 wins and 5 draws. (4 losses)

21 wins and 2 draws (6 losses)

22 wins guaranteed. (7 losses)

Are we the only team not to concede more than 1+ goals this season?

Presume you mean 10+? And where? In English Football?

We've conceded 10 in 17 games. Arsenal 10 in 13 games.

6. Last champions league win was first qualifying round in 2020/21 under Ange Posteglou who had a further 9 games (second qualifying round, loss in two legged qualifiers and group stage the subsequent two seasons)
