Kramaric

I'd love the know the story of this guy's under-performance. There's no real logic to it.  Did he just see what he considered to be less talented players getting chances he wasn't and simply turn off in a fit of disenchantment?

Clever, as opposed to physical footballers, can be like that.

Whatever it seems to have been a massive waste of money and talent. So strange for City who seem to take some trouble over their signings both in terms of attitude, ability and suitability.

The key difference with this signing was being bottom in January, we gambled and you might suggest the gamble paid off.... Vardy has been sensational since he arrived.

Pearsons daughter apparently, no malice in it just a simple clash of heads while he was nailing her.

Thats what they ALL say

Yeh he's done if he's not even in the squad for a cup game which we've made 8/9 changes for. Expecting him to be the first January departure now.

Anyone else watching the game see that he's on the bench?

Just part of the match squad, guess at Spurs the dugouts big enough for the reserves to sit down there, Vardy was there as well.

Don't think he's a dud, just not suited to our or the English game. I've an awful feeling we'll sell him and in a couple of years time he'll be hot property. It really does look like he has no future here.

The sooner he's gone and we get a proper striker in as a replacement the better for everyone. He may have been a golden boy of Croatian football but he's offered nothing here. He must have had something for us to pay that much for him, but I haven't seen anything to convince me that he's a real player. Added to that I think his attitude is very poor.

There's always a weird non-selection, non-communication thing going on with at least one player no matter how well or badly the club is doing.

Even last season it was Albrighton for months on end, then Hamer in a way.

At least it's £9m Croatian hotshots these days and not Elvis Hammond, Levi Porter or Hossein Kaebi.

If he'd done something behind the scenes there would be some murmurs regarding it. I think it's just a case of him not being hugely good at anything, he's not a target man, he's not going to do what Vardy does, he's not strong and going to offer centre backs a huge problem so in our counter attacking team if you have none of that then you're surplus to requirements. It's a shame, I think he'd tear it up in Serie A. Seems like a decent bloke too, there's no way he's badmouthing management or pissing people off, he's just here at the wrong time with Vardy in the form of his life.

This is very possible but at the same time we can't spend time thinking about that; gotta do what's best for the time while in this incredible position. If he goes to one of these French teams he's being linked with or maybe if Celtic are still interested I'm sure he'll get his chance and do well. Just doesn't suit this team.

Have heard from a few people now that he's just not sharp enough in training, all rumours of course.

Can see him doing well in Serie A, and good luck to him.

CR has said yesterday that we are apparently listening to offers for him.

Said he liked him (which he obviously needs to say in the media) but prefers the other 3 strikers. Said he is happy for him to stay if he likes though

I wonder if he just can't get his fitness levels to where we need them to be?

Don't recall him ever finishing a game he started last year (he was up on his own tbf)

I just think he's too slow for the way we play. Simple as that.

I hear that argument then I think that can't the case as Ulloa doesn't exactly speed our game up.

No but he Does offer you something different in terms of link up play & aerial threat.

Not that he's winning anything in the air recently mind.

The problem for Kramaric is that we've moved on too quickly from a club that was destined for relegation to where we are now. He didn't hit the ground running in his first few games and since has just played catch up.

The move as it turns out, was the wrong thing for him at the wrong time. He probably can go elsewhere and score a hatful, but here, we've moved on too quickly in our style to be able to integrate him, and defensively, he's probably our weakest striker.

He has come from a league where the pace and intensity is much slower than our current game, where defenders are incomparable to the physicality and brutalness of those in the Premier League.

When he has had a chance, he's looked quicker this season compared to last, but those little chipped efforts at goal when one on one, rather than putting his foot through the ball, showed that he's still very raw. I do feel he deserved more of a chance, ahead of Ulloa and Okazaki at times, but for some reason, Claudio just doesn't seem to think he is up to the task.

Good luck to him.

Maybe because like NP before him, Claudio studied him at training, and made a balanced judgement?
