We really gunna throw 10m euros at a lad who's rated 58 on fifa?

What's he like on FM?

Got injured five minutes into the Sampdoria season for 7 years.

Value 10k, piss poor stats.

Why are we potentially getting rid of Benny after a few months and almost no playing time?

I understand scouts don't get everything right, but to buy someone and then release him when he hasn't even played in the league is terrible. How could you get something that wrong?

I know there's no place for sentiment in top level football but if we do sign this guy I can't help feel a bit sorry for Simpson. He's worked so hard to improve his game and has been an integral part of our success so far this season. Couldn't really have asked any more from him. Still, you've got to be pragmatic if you want to progress I suppose.

Walsh doesn't get every single thing right to be fair.

Futacs, Whitbread, Bakayogo, Taylor-Fletcher...

Good job we paid £0 for them.

Tancredi Palmeri :

Leicester close to define the signing of young defender Pedro Pereira from Sampdoria for 10m€

Seems like a lot of money but hey ho

Promising talent for the future might be worth the gamble?

Well Simpson should take a leaf out of Drinky's book when we signed Inler and Kante.

He's seems to be an incredible athlete, a bit Ronaldo like with his stature and running style. No way he will remain a RB, he will move into RM/RW at some point.

What was Mahrez rated before we signed him?

Yeah but we didn't really sign him for 10m euros did we? Wasn't much of a gamble.

Anyone remember how we drooled at Kermorgants YouTube video?

I think you're getting youtube mixed up with porn hub.

I'm not sure exactly how we're gambling? Hardly a stretch to want sign a player who has been scouted, and can offer something to the team. Even if Inler leaves us he has likely contributed to our success behind the scenes either in training or as a unit? Are you saying that De Jong won't/ can't do either?

Seems like a player who might be happy to contribute when necessary, but not demand to be a first team pick.

Forget this FIFA rubbish. He is rated 10 Bob in my Subbuteo League. Get him in. The incentive of a Pizza every time he keeps a clean sheet will make him a World Class defender.

Some people do make me laugh they really do, football isn't rocket science, if you've got the right attributes you then need the right guidance and the world is then your oyster.

Do some of you expect finished articles at 17 or 19? I wonder how many barca fans moaned about playing a 17 year old Messi, or united an 18 year old Ronaldo?

The kid clearly has got some key attributes to develop into a good player, it's just picking the right coaching and team to go to in order to develop their game.

Had Mahrez not joined us do you think that he would be one of the best players in the premier league at this time?
