Sydney Fox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Not sure why we get worried about the fee. It's not like we're lacking in money.
Gerard Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Not sure why we get worried about the fee. It's not like we're lacking in money. Well we still need VFM. We're not as rich as people like to believe, about the average mark at best in the EPL.
Kilworthfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Well we still need VFM. We're not as rich as people like to believe, about the average mark at best in the EPL. Still that makes lcfc one of the top 30 richest clubs in the world. How times have changed!
Callabinho Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Reports coming out of Italy suggest he's snubbed us for Juve.
Nick Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Reports coming out of Italy suggest he's snubbed us for Juve. Yup that's what I read earlier too - shame.
MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Reports coming out of Italy suggest he's snubbed us for Juve. (Somewhat) confirmed: http://www.football-italia.net/77780/juve-swoop-pedro-pereira?

Babylon Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 So €10 for a 17 year old right back whose made 5 appearances and was a free transfer 6 months ago? Thats completely illogical. He'd have to have become the new cafu in that time. Has there ever been a transfer like this for a full back? I've never seen or heard of this player, but something is off here, most probably the fees being reported. Stinks of Benalouane again. Big fee with nothing much to warrant it.
Gerard Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Stinks of Benalouane again. Big fee with nothing much to warrant it. You have to wonder why he went from Benfica to Sampdoria for a nominal fee and six games later he's appeared on our radar for €10m. I'd have a lot more faith in him being a success than Benalouane though, he's 17 and playing first team football for a club 7th in Serie A but it's baffling why we've become so interested so quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if the Juventus link is a bluff to increase his salary or transfer fee.

Grewks Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 So...... Ranieri didn't want kante, but lead the signings of benalouane and inler. Claudio, let Walsh do his job, you've got all 3 wrong so far.
Micky Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 So...... Ranieri didn't want kante, but lead the signings of benalouane and inler. Claudio, let Walsh do his job, you've got all 3 wrong so far. Inler was being tracked well before Ranieri was appointed. Walsh has made some fantastic recommendations but he has also recommended some duffers. In football, you will never get them all right.
AKCJ Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 So...... Ranieri didn't want kante, but lead the signings of benalouane and inler. Claudio, let Walsh do his job, you've got all 3 wrong so far. Walsh doesn't get every single thing right to be fair. Futacs, Whitbread, Bakayogo, Taylor-Fletcher...
GingerrrFox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Walsh doesn't get every single thing right to be fair. Futacs, Whitbread, Bakayogo, Taylor-Fletcher... Bakayago was an unwanted signing. When Konchesky was nearly shipped out to Brighton for financial reasons Terry Robinson rushed the Bakayogo signing so we had cover. He wasn't wanted by Nigel or his coaching team. Hence why he never played.
foxoffderby Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 SSN confirms our interest talks to resume after Sampdoria's next game. They also confirm we face compo from Juve.
FoxFossil Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Now we are past 40 points we can start building for the future. Next season 4th gets £141m and even 17th gets £101m. So we could buy 10 at £10m and still have change for a bag of chips and a round in the pub. Getimin.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 If benny is included in the deal & does go the other way surely that means we will be in the market for a new centre back... Dragovic?
Rushden fox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Sky reports we will continue negotiation tomorrow after sampdoria's game with Genoa. Hope there's a steam

KP Fox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 I don't like defensive players from Italy playing in the premier league. Benny looked like he was gonna give away a free kick or pen with every tackle. Inler needs 17 touches before he gets the ball under control

Benny looked like he was gonna give away a free kick or pen with every tackle. Inler needs 17 touches before he gets the ball under control After the huge amount of games they've both played. Benny was outstanding in the cup against West Ham.
