davieG Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Shining light: Vardy has been Leicester's star player this season Jamie Vardy quite literally has his name up in lights. The Premier League striker of the season so far has been the talk of the country after incredibly scoring in 11 consecutive top flight games for Leicester. And while Vardy's name has taken headlines left, right and centre, he has treated himself to a spectacularly bright addition to his games room at home. His name shines bright in lights on the wall, looking over his No.9-themed pool table at his luxury pad in Melton Mowbray. The room is complete with football shirts on the ceiling, which appear to be collectibles from him career in Britain's lower leagues.
bovril Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 From the thread title I thought one of our players had publicly fvcked up again.
Izzy Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Ah, modern day egotistical, flash footballers. At least the Leicester shirt on the pool table suggests he's staying put I suppose!

StanSP Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 his life, let him have what he wants in his house. he's earned the money to spend it on what he wants.
MC Prussian Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 The guy's living the dream. Cut him some slack. Taste is subjective - I won't object. Although I do hope for his sake that the diamond-shaped light is not made out of actual diamonds.
MadKaw Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 He'll soon be referring to himself in the 3rd person.
ScouseFox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 if i ever made it in anything i would undoubtedly dedicate a room in my house to me. probably more than one. probably rooms in other peoples houses too. i might even do it despite not making it in any way. the dream.
fuchsntf Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 I had a trainset in mine, with pictures of the younger Caroline Munro ( helicopter pilot, in james bond film).
pSinatra Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 He's a young man with more money than he knows what to do with. It's a games room. What are people expecting? The set of Downton Abbey? I would do exactly the same or worse

I would do exactly the same or worse At least it's not as bad as the PL player who spent £50k on a diamond encrusted gear stick knob for his Range Rover I suppose.
Guest Col city fan Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 I can't like that. As arrogant as it is (having his own name in lights in his own house) at least it's different. And looks cool.
