I reckon it'll do us good to go 1-0 or 2-0 down tomorrow to see how we react, we've been too cautious lately, would love to see one of our early season comebacks. 2-3 tomorrow and 0-1 to us in the league

An inconvenient 1-1 tomorrow remedied by a sweet 2-1 victory on Weds with Harry Kane suffering a broken toe (left pinky) in the second half.

As one of the older generation of fans I never thought I'd say this, but if we can only win one of these, I'd rather it be on Weds. We'll always have a realistic chance to win the Cup, but we'll never get a better shot at the league.

That said, I think we'll draw today, lose on Wednesday.

Spurs are on fire at the moment.... with the team selection today I see us losing ... 3-1 Spurs.

Wednesday we'd better win as I'm there... I predict 2-1 Leicester with a late Wes header winner!

  • Nothing Ranieri's said suggests the FA Cup game is anything more than a distraction for City. Talk about people  "deserving to play" does nothing for me. It sounds like condescension rather than a genuine fight for places and the honour of being in our first team.

Yes, he warns people against not giving their best and talks about "respect" for the Cup but any determined challenge for a Cup run means fielding the kind of team likely to convince the players as well as the fans and I remember our limp-wristed efforts against Hull. We were just a shadow of what we can be and I can't imagine it any different today.

Of course, one lives in hope but I'm not looking forward to the games one bit. I tried to figure a bet around the idea of who wins today, the minimum number of  goals and whether both teams would score.

But I hate betting against Leicester, don't see any great reason we might break our run of three games without a goal and can't see why Spurs would bother with more than the 2-0 cushion Lawrenson suggests, so nothing suits.

    .

What disappoints me is we're taking too long to find the two supporting strikers we need. I still have faith in Ulloa but he just doesn't fit naturally into today's set up, perhaps another legacy of our move from three at the back.

Whatever the reasons, the toll taken on Vardy and the loss of Schlupp as an option has gradually cost us momentum

Every way I look at it I can see very little sunlight today or in the week. One or two-nil to Spurs today with the faintest hope of an Ulloa goal given his record in the FA Cup. And 2-1 to Spurs in midweek.

With extra hands on board I thought we might win the league points and even get a replay in the Cup. But, we're just taking too long to re-group the squad both inwards and out so I'd be amazed if Gray can shoulder the kind of responsibility he's walking into with so few people to aim his crosses at.

I'd take fourth place in The Premiership now, given today's circumstances and the refusal of three available points against Bournemouth. The chasing back won't be as weak second half and we've not got enough goals threat other than in two or three shirts....which is far too few.

I would however point to the Cup game against Spurs when DeVries finished a hero. That was at home but it was still a big shock to many.....

Christ.......doom and gloom from you today, yet your favourite Mr King plays. I just love it when we have a manager at long last that plays a reasonable team in the cup. At least Schwarzer is not in goal, let's see how our midfield may play Kante, King and Inler is not bad. Benny played well against West Ham in the league cup, i am very optimistic about today.

Refreshing too we have a manager who has stated Schlupp is not a left back, kramaric must surely be off but I was never convinced by him. Will be interesting to see how the young kid from Brum gets on today let's wait and see.
