desertfox2 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 http://playingfor90.com/2016/01/15/berahino-to-leicester-would-be-good-for-premier-league/ Just thought I'd share this to anyone interested. Good read and shows how far we have come
The Unknown Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Id take him in a heart beat if he's cheap, don't care what anyone says he's a class young striker. None of this crap media bad attitude shite This! He scores for a poor WBA team, his attitude is down to the 2 clubs messing him around in the last window. Told he could leave then they wouldn't accept a bid, which once again is over inflated as he's a young English player. He's come on a number of times this year rarely started and still contributes with goals and commitment, surely that shows a good attitude. I'd love him at Leicester, very similar to what we already have though so very much doubt we will be in for him.

Even so, after what he tweeted saying he'd never play for them again, that shows immaturity and petulance. It's a no from me.
dylanlegend Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 To be fair if Walsh want him il take him. They must think his attitude isnt that bad
dylanlegend Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 If it was a choice between Berihino and Austin who would everyone want?
MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Leicester fans on Twitter react to Berahino as a potential transfer target: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/01/15/leicester-fans-react-on-twitter-to-saido-berahino-speculation/page/1/
Nick Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Berahino would cost £20 million ish..... Big roll of the dice that would be - can't see it myself.
My Nads Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Austin. No competition. Same. I'll be pretty pissed if we don't go back in for him. I read QPR would take £8m for him now, so that's a much better deal than Berahino, who is a total dick!

Even so, after what he tweeted saying he'd never play for them again, that shows immaturity and petulance. It's a no from me. Look at Suarez, everyone hated him he was a **** he's turned it round. Not saying for a second he is same level but he's young and has time to change opinions.
Tuna Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Leicester fans on Twitter react to Berahino as a potential transfer target: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/01/15/leicester-fans-react-on-twitter-to-saido-berahino-speculation/page/1/ I like the summary at the bottom of the page: Would Saido Berahino be a good signing for West Bromwich Albion?
stretch1965 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Do we really want to risk upsetting our dressing room and team spirit by bringing him into the fold? Does have some talent no doubt and coukd potentially score plenty for a bigger side than wba who give him better service. But its no from me
My Nads Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 He won't come here for a number of reasons but mainly because he's over priced. We can do a lot better for that kind of investment. I could see this happening (hope not) if Ulloa goes the other way. Pulis is a big fan of Ulloa and there was some interest not long back.
eddylcfc Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I'd much rather Berahino. His potential is huge.
dylanlegend Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I could see this happening (hope not) if Ulloa goes the other way. Pulis is a big fan of Ulloa and there was some interest not long back. So We'd have Vardy, Okazaki, Berahinho and no Ulloa. It'll be like watching "Willow"

I'd say, he would start out well bang in a few and then spit his dummy out big time because he wants to move to a bigger club. I think he would then say he wont ever play for them again, not long before playing for them again, just to show his true character. So I'd have to say overall he would be a mediocre signing for them and should probably give it best. That would be my guess.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Like others have already said, I trust in what our scouting system sees in players. He is a talented player is Berahinho.
foxes161 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I think look at him in the summer but not now..think chemistry is an issue.
ARTY_FOX Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Nah don't want him. I'd be happy to be proven wrong but don't rate him personally
My Nads Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 To be fair if Walsh want him il take him. They must think his attitude isnt that bad The team chemistry, hard working, team spirit, decent personality type player philosophy mostly came from Nige. I really hope Claudio can continue with it, it's a huge part of our success.
HighPeakFox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I don't know Saido Berahino, or very much compared with the staff at our club. If he comes, I'll support him.
LCFCABC Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Been hoping for this rumour for some time. Think he'd fit into the system we play very well. Its been a pretty poor 18 months from him so there is no doubt a fresh start would improve his game.
stu Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Austin off to Southampton, so you can put that one to bed finally.
yorkie1999 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Same. I'll be pretty pissed if we don't go back in for him. I read QPR would take £8m for him now, so that's a much better deal than Berahino, who is a total dick! Looks like Southampton have signed him for 4 million
