johnny the fox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Wow ! How things have changed , the torrent of negativity about this transfer was embarrassing at one stage ! Glad to see people have wised up ! This would be a fantastic buy ! Arrogant comment you assume you are all knowing and wise ..
Legend fox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Sorry still a no from me. U can have all the ability in the world but if u are a arse with it u will never be happy and leave carnage in your wake. Don't want that at our club.

This would be a fantastic buy ! If it's Berahino or no one, then I might be persuaded. He would need to convince the management he really wants to come here and play for us, which is something I doubt very much.

U can have all the ability in the world but if u are a arse with it u will never be happy and leave carnage in your wake. Don't want that at our club.So if you was left on the bench most weeks, played shit football, the manager constantly goes to the press slagging you off & you want to leave because of that, it makes you an arse?I really don't think this kid has an attitude problem. He got too excited about joining a big club & was left massively disappointed that it didn't work out & unfortuantley it effected his performances. I personally don't see this as being a bad thing. He was so keen on proving himself on the big stage. He's a young lad, it's all a learning curve for him. Under the right guidance I think he could be something special!

If we sign him and he proves me wrong I will eat my hat but I just don't think he will. The way he handled the Spurs bids over the summer was a shocking and any one linked with him would be taking a big risk.
foxes21 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Honestly I think the whole spurs situation has been misinterpreted. Now everyone thinks the lad has an attitude problem, when really the blame should be pointed at Pulis & the WBA chairman for keeping an unhappy player, who clearly wanted to leave.

Explain to me aswell what he did was So bad... Purely because he voiced his opinion on wanting a move to Tottenham & the west brom staff just wanted him to rot on the bench?

Just seems everyone jumps on the bandwagon. But the way I look at it when he was firing everyone wanted him. I think once Berahinho does get his move regardless who it's too, he will come back to his best & will be scoring for fun!
Russell sprout Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I struggle to see what all the hype is about with beraheino, other than the 1st half of last season he ain't done fook all, seems a bad apple to me
Callabinho Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I think this "attitude" is more to do with that pube Pulis, he's a cock, if you don't want to play for him then he will suffocate you...who would want to play for that crock of shite anyway? Pulis is attempting to destroy a very promising player.
Bayfox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 All this talk of WBA keeping an unhappy player. They had a value, they felt spurs didn't match it. I assume all these same people will wish vardy and mahrez on there way should they both make noises they want to leave at the 1st sign of a 15 million bid. No will you ****. I still think if we signed the lad he would last 6 months or maybe 12 before he started doing the same to us. He clearly wants to go to what he sees as a big club.
katieakita Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Think Spurs offered was based on paying over 40 yrs.Players hold all the power and the guy has done well to dump his agent who if was the same as Sterling as a class A cvnt. Heads can be turned look at Joe Mattock, the guy is quality and our guys do their homework but think coming to us would be very left field.
st albans fox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I can't say what I know in detail but Spurs were mugged off by WBA on the deal. It wasn't a surprise that player was pissed off. I wouldn't judge him on that reaction.

weller54 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Get him in.. We're desperate for a striker.. Please!!!
fox_favourite Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Get him in.. We're desperate for a striker.. Please!!! You would have a player with a massive attitude problem in?? Doesn't fit in with the character of the squad and its all about Berahino, he doesn't care about anything else. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.
Fox92 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Get him in.. We're desperate for a striker.. Please!!! Needs to be the right fit, the right personality, the right work rate though - and he doesn't match our current squad ethic. He's on the bench for West Brom every week ffs.
ithuriel Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Well, we need another striker, Kram cant even nail a place on the bench and Ulloa as turned into an heffalump, leaving only Okazaki and Vardy.

Where is the evidence that if he is treated like an adult (rather than a buy to let house), he behaves like a child? No tease Mozart, if you want to buy something and you are told what you need to do and you do it then I suspect you expect it will be ok? Bit more involved than that but you have the gist.
MGLCFC Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Would sell Ulloa and loan out Kram and try or get two strikers in. Aboubakar looks strong and pacey and perhaps a cheeky bid fid for Sigurdsson. Would be an excellent number 10.
GingerrrFox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Tony Pulis is a psycho that rules by conformity, if you don't follow him completely then he will ostracise you from the group and scape goat you. He's been doing it for years. The kid has aspirations of playing at the highest level he can and Pulis resents him for it and called him out in public. Pulis is grade A ****.

So you agree that he should have tweeted that he would refuse to play for the club again after the transfer fell through for whatever reason? Fair enough, but there are still better ways to conduct yourself, and for a grown adult and professional to throw his toys out the pram publically isn't the way to do it. Tweeting what he did wasn't necessary and could have been handled interanlly. I didn't like his attitude in the whole situation.
