ithuriel Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 From reading that, he will head to pound I mean scouseland
st albans fox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 No way Swansea will sell in this window They have no decent strikers apart from him.
Soar Fox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 We'll just wait for them to be relegated then sign him.
Fox92 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Wow what is football now when a team struggling to survive can reject £17million from a fellow struggling team.
Buzzell Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Rumour has it they are looking to offload Gomis. Can't see them selling both.
Tuna Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Wow what is football now when a team struggling to survive can reject £17million from a fellow struggling team. That's euros, 17 million euros is around 9 million quid.
Gerard Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 A bit annoying to spend €17m on a player they got on a Bosman six months a go. That's euros, 17 million euros is around 9 million quid. £13m actually
Fox92 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 That's euros, 17 million euros is around 9 million quid. £13m actually Ah right, ok, still a decent amount though isn't it.
foxes161 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 If we can strengthen why not...we need to spend to remain at the top anyway
Jaspa Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Quality player who Swansea had to pay wedge in wages just to get him to sign, unless we somehow get them to supplement his costs I dont see this as feasible. Like if they go down first and cant get him to go off because they value him at 15m+ and they still pay him we could look at a loan (Remy QPR>Newcastle). But unless we want to lob money at it I dont see it happening this window.

We won't pay him that and he won't want a drop in wages so if we did get him it will only be if Swansea get relegated and his new wage is £50k a week.

We won't pay him that and he won't want a drop in wages so if we did get him it will only be if Swansea get relegated and his new wage is £50k a week. If he signs for another club, he will want a big chunk of his contract paying up as part of the deal. Either that or he got most of the 100k a week as a signing on fee so it's already in his bank account. as I said, no way will Swansea commit PL hari Kari by selling him now.
J.Lisemore Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 As much as he went to Swansea on a bosman, they actually had to pay Ayew and his agent around £6M. Plus hefty wages as mentioned above. Can't see us being interested in this.
Wymsey Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Rather have him than Adebayor. The latter being on a reported £220,000 a week, only plays when a blue moon happens and has attitude problems.
filbertstreet Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 are we just trying to buy the ghana national team?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Liamlcfc's hanging onto the helicopter hovering above the liberty.

For a minute there I thought you said Adebayor was on £220k a week = £11+ million a year. Fvck my boots, the worlds gone mad if that's true...

mozartfox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 That's euros, 17 million euros is around 9 million quid. Wow man that is some rate of exchange. Can you let me know where you buy your Euros?
