Bamford was named Championship player of the year last season wasn't he?

If he's that bad why haven't Chelsea got rid?

The Championship isn't the highest level last time I looked.

 

Whenever I've seen him, there has been nothing to suggest he'll make the step up. Not quick enough, not strong enough... he's like a Nugent or Fryatt, at his level in the championship.

 

But he's young and has already proven to be too good for that division.

 

Can hardly say that he's stealing a living at the highest level when he's been offered 6 appearances at that level.

He's a striker though, not a winger.

 

Yeah, he just plays on the wing for a laugh. lol

Not sure scoring 19 goals is proving you are too good, Gestede and Jerome outscored him last year in the league. Christ, Bradley Johnson got 15 for Norwich.

It's the age that impresses me. Not many 21 year olds scoring a goal every other game from the wing.

He's consistently picked to play on the wing.

He's never a proper winger in a million years.

Playing "on the right" doesn't make you a winger if you are high up and tucked in.

Bamford is way overrated. Truly is a championship player. Agree with Babs, he's a young Nugent, who by the way, got 20 goals in the Championship and then was considered by a lot of the Bamford lovers as not good enough.
