The quiet on the rumour front probably means something is happening. First we heard of Austin to Southampton was on the day he signed. Someting will leak out when it is close.

Am I reading to much into this ?

I think you are reading that they are brothers. I am reading that they are referring to Ghana as the mother and they are ghanain brothers (but not actually brothers) so therefore I would say you are reading too much in to it.

Andre Ayew is only 26 aswell, I thought hes older than that.

Quality player, will bezz around, put himself around for the team and he just looks so classy on the ball. Again though, mentioned before - he is mega wedge at Swansea. Were talking 100kpw territory

Ayew looks a good shout. Find it hard to believe Swansea would have had to offer him as much as 100k a week. Can that be true? Could we prise him away from Swansea anyway?

By reading too much into it maybe he was referring to the ' this is the start of a long journey'. Maybe he is concerned we are just a stepping stone.

They got him on a free and he basically bargained the money they saved on a fee to a club into a jackpot for him. It seemed a risk to actually sign him as hes unproven in this League so far he alone hasnt saved their season but the talent is obviously there and hes able to dispay what he does in the Prem naturally.

What I read was he was on huge wages, Ive just looked it up and this - http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-paid-andre-ayew-9495180- says 50kpw and he got a bulk of 5.7m for signing. Trying to be logical I'd have thought they could structure it on performances and appearances instead of handing over that much money in one go. I think we'd need Swansea to be in the need to sell for us to get him, were talking big fee and big wages at the moment; there are other options out there if were willing for that

i think the 'long journey' is referring to the great distance from ghana to leicester. especially when travelling by dog sled.
