I think it will be Berahino, but I'm not sure how I would feel about the idea.

We could all be setting ourselves up for a massive disappointment though.  :(

I'd like Slimani. We've been after him for a while so I'm confident he'll fit in. He's 27 so in his prime and will be good for Mahrez. Also, the other names on the list aren't that inspiring.

Imagine the sea of disappointment on deadline day when Bamford is unveiled.

Andy Delort maybe .

This could honestly be a possibility. Haven't we been linked with him for like the past two years? And in the summer too?

Don't know how I feel about the signing personally, but there's more truth to this type of signing then some of the names on that list.

With a different manager...

CR said someone he could slot in without changing much.

Needs to be mobile and hard-working, so we can press.

Nuge?

Nuge?

Selling him was a mistake. His days here were numbered and I'm not disputing that, but he would have been useful in recent weeks when Ulloa couldn't do a thing. I'd also have bet on him to score a cracker out of nowhere in one of those 0-0 draws.

I still wish we could have seen him paired with Vardy during Vardy's hot streak. Those two knew each other's games inside and out.

We should have kept him without a doubt. In fact Ulloa and Kram weren't worth the huge amount of money they cost and you could argue Nuge and Woods were just as good. We really should have kept hold of Nuge though.

Didnt we get £4m for him? Good deal imo

Okazaki is one of the reasons for Vardy's hot streak. The two play well together.

Strange that I have a feeling something is close to being sorted and yet there are no leaks from anywhere. Could be completely 'left field'

Think your right. I remember when fuchs signed, out the blue then done!! Genuinely think its close

If we can't get any of our main targets I'd take a punt on Adebayor til the end of the season.

No doubt I'll get shot down for the suggestion but he'll guarantee us goals, works hard and will fit perfectly into our system.

I wouldn't worry about him disrupting the changing room either as the senior players/manager wouldn't let it happen similar to when Collymore came.

It's defo worth a look in my opinion

I agree.  Adebayor is a bloody good player - his record is as good as Drogba's ffs.
