escos Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 It's over http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35454860 Not if we bid the buy out price it isn't.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 If he has a buy out clause in his contract it isn't over.
Babylon Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 It's over http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35454860 It's no different to where we were, meet the clause or you don't get him. (Which we won't do if you ask me).
SheppyFox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Not if we bid the buy out price it isn't.Exactly, this is just the business way of saying pay the release fee or goodluck elsewhere, it changes nothing.
RowlattsFox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 We get linked with players but sign them in the following window. That's how it works for us. I expect us to go back in the summer, if we wanted to meet the clause we would have done by now.
Babylon Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Why don't we just pay the clause ffsBecause he's not worth it.Because we can't afford it.
escos Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Why don't we just pay the clause ffs I presume because it's a hell of a lot of money. IMO we were after a top player to cover both striker and winger positions. If we are challenging for the league expect to see more 4-3-3 or 4-5-1. So now I wouldn't be surprised if we get a striker and a winger. For less money that Musa alone.
SB87_LCFC Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Doumbia off to Newcastle so surely they're not gonna let Musa go as well as him and Vagner Love during one transfer window?
Brooksy Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 4 bids? we're just not very good at this are we
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Doumbia off to Newcastle so surely they're not gonna let Musa go as well as him and Vagner Love during one transfer window? He plays for Roma ?
SB87_LCFC Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 He plays for Roma ? Yea but on loan at CSKA so going to be losing another forward?
FrankieADZ Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 we'll probably put in a £22million tomorrow morning, if thats rejected we'll put in a buy out clause at something like 5 tomorrow afternoon
J.Lisemore Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Doumbia off to Newcastle so surely they're not gonna let Musa go as well as him and Vagner Love during one transfer window? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Vagner Love go back to Brazil a while ago?
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Yea but on loan at CSKA so going to be losing another forward? So Roma loan him for a season to CSKA but then sell him in January? That would pee me off if I were at CSKA. No wonder they want us to meet the buy out clause on musa.
The Doctor Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Doumbia off to Newcastle so surely they're not gonna let Musa go as well as him and Vagner Love during one transfer window? Vagner Love left about 3 years ago and Doumbia is contracted to Roma. You've had an absolute mare.
Bunyip Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Because he's not worth it. Because we can't afford it. And you know this because ?
Foxy_jim Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Literally can't wait for tomorrow love deadline day, and this year for us it will be really intriguing. Remy on loan mid morning followed by musa for 23 million at about half 10.

Foxy_jim Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Fook me there's some misery guts on here. Yes we might not sign anyone but I know for a fact it won't be through lack of effort. Plus even if we don't we are top of the league so cheer up everyone ffs. For all we know a deal or 2 might be really close, all we hear is rumours from crap websites and newspapers and believe its true. We could bid for anyone tomorrow and he flies in and signs 24 hours is a long time.

Exactly but you know what the transfer window does to people, it creates mass hysteria and the fact we are after a striker makes it even worse. I am slightly miffed we aren't going for Doumbia who seems available where as our other targets haven't been or have turned us down.
Hereford:Fox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 I've been pretty pessimistic with our chances of winning the tittle this season but the further it has progressed with us top or within striking distance the more I have started to believe. The fact is we are going into February 3 points clear at the top of the premier league, and at this point if we make 1 or 2 signings that can add even more to a our starting 11 we could actually win this. Tomorrow I will be constantly checking to see if we have signed Musa or Remy or anyone else we have been linked with, I'm starting to believe we can win this.
