chapero82 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It's written in the stars for Schlupp to come back from injury and score so many goals we win the league. Either that or he's 1 on 1, 93rd minute against Chelsea, needs to score for the title and forgets he's a footballer. And hits it like he plays for tigers

Grey Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm not sure I believe the Gayle part. I reckon it's just his agent trying to put his name about a bit. I guess we'll see tomorrow.
crisp packet Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Rob Dorset at training ground SSN says Musa still a target ? Gayle an alternative...
lgfualol Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Rob Dorset at training ground SSN says Musa still a target ? Gayle an alternative... Our targets are a Champions League striker and if that doesnt work out a Championship striker.
FrankieADZ Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 £20mil bid put in according the the Mail you'd think if we put add ons on that they'd accept it if it hits the buy out clause
Edingleyfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Could do with sorting this out before United or Southampton etc come in for him Cannot see why Gayle is an alternative particularly with ? hamstring injury.
st albans fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Where's rama when you need him? Has he been silenced by the 'KP mafioso'?
Guest Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Where's rama when you need him? Has he been silenced by the 'KP mafioso'? Or Toffee?
st albans fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Or Toffee? Rama's never wrong though. Toffee has had a couple of mares (though I don't think the EC one was his fault)
benpicko Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Rob Dorset at training ground SSN says Musa still a target ? Gayle an alternative... How do we go from Musa to Gayle as the alternative?
Bagworthblue Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 £20mil bid put in according the the Mail you'd think if we put add ons on that they'd accept it if it hits the buy out clause if true but it depends on the terms of the buyout clause. For all we know it could be £22.8m in full, or 50% upfront and remainder within 2 years etc etc etc. It's not just the amount we need to hit but the terms that will be associated with it.
Grey Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I don't see us getting him unless we hit the clause. They are in a strong position if they are happy for him to stay. Time is running out for us and they know it.
Finnegan Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Wouldn't surprise me if we get Remy on loan and go back for Musa in the summer if we're in the champions league.
Gerard Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I think we'll end up paying the buy out clause and he'll be a Leicester player at some point today. If the alternative is £9m on Gayle you may as well just pay it. Gayle, the Crystal Palace reserve is not going to take us to the next level. With the new TV money someone will probably buy him for £22.8m in the summer as ordinary clubs can afford that at he may be the best player they can get.
what? Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Anyone know what time the Russian window closes? Is it before ours?

If we cannot sign Musa, then go with what we have. Gayle is no better than Kram.

AKCJ Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Not today. Didn't Samba sign for QPR a few seasons ago after the British transfer window closed because the Russian one was still open? Could have made that up but it rings a bell.
Tuna Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/02/01/report-southampton-enquired-about-ahmed-musa-this-weekend-leices/ Southampton also interested. C'mon Top get this one done.
