escos Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I understand about wanting a striker in case Vardy gets injured although Krameric has a recall option etc etc. What I can't understand is saying we need another striker to score more goals. We are one of the top scoring team with these players. Vardy was injured and didn't train for a month, in fact he said only a week ok he's nearly fit and raring to hit full speed. Don't panic!!!
st albans fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I keep reading that there is a recall clause on krama. Can anyone definitely confirm that we are allowed to declare him in our 25 man squad, even though he is on loan elsewhere. Surely that's not allowed?
jock2612 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If this is true it is pathetic ! 15 games to go and only 3 strikers available. 1/ 2 injuries and all the great work done in the first half of the season will be wasted ! We know CR wanted a striker and the club have let him down!! Ridiculous!

Also with Amartey in the squad now, I can see us using a 4-1-4-1 system, with Amartey holding and the other five players in the opposition half. This is a system that Don Claudio will use, and for that Vardy, or Shinji or Ulloa could make it work. I trust the 'Don' to bring it home. Boy, am I glad that all of those demonstrating a distinct lack of understanding and imagination on this topic have nothing to do with the management of the club.

You could relate that to any club, alot is rotton at Newcastle but their scouting team isnt one of them

The worst thing about not signing a striker is having to contemplate playing 1 up top. I hope it doesn't come to that, we are shocking with 1 up top. We have a few players that can easily play the no10 role if needed.

But lets save that sentiment for the summer and all the other transfer windows - not the one where we're top of the table with 15 games to go. Come off it!!! Being a PL club over weighs this... Look at Newcastle, Palace, Stoke, Sunderland... That's before you talk about Tottenham and so called big 4! The PL have significantly overpaid for players for years. It's not what you're willing to pay its what you have to spend!

If there's nothing you can do about it, making light of it is the best option. Besides, calm down. Dodoo scored four goals from four touches. With an average of 20 touches per game, I can categorically state we will win the league.
artursteppe Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It is quite simple, if we get a reputation for being willing to spend £5million more than our own valuation every club in the world would increase the value of every target that we wanted to buy with an add-on of at least £5million. We must let other clubs know that there is no club who can take the piss out of Leicester City,right? That is garbage, just because you pay over the odds once doesn't mean your prepared to do it deal after deal Tell all those selling clubs that. I am sure they will let their players go cheap to a club who are known to over pay for players!

I think some of you would have been happy if we spent £22m on coco the clown just so it didn't spoil your transfer deadline day. Honestly get a grip of yourselves.

Liverpool were very close to winning the league and haven't been anywhere near since, this is the only year we will get this chance as Chelsea and United will be back!!

Quite clearly there was player willing to move for the money a clever loan or two in would have been smart. If we lose Vardy I will hate to watch Okazaki and Ulloa leading the line neither are good enough to win you a league... We had the chance but looks like the big Thais have bottled the chance they had to do something big!!! my god shall we tell the Thai's to clear off , another numpty fan ! We were going no where until the investment from our current owners . At this very moment we have built a team that is going to finish in the highest position for a very long time. When I read comments like yours I really wonder about the intelligence of some of the people who post on here!

Honestly get a grip of yourselves. seriously? how many times have we been top of the PL before in Feb - with 16 games left - in your life time? we have a grip, to bury your head in the sand on it suggests you don't.
