Koke Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Absolutely superb window. Kept hold of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante and have signed two players with very high potential for minimal fees. Top of the league and a superb time to be a Leicester fan. Superb window? We let Kramaric go out on loan, and we desperately needed another striker to cement our place in the top 4. We are one injury away from being in dire straits. Imagine if Vardy gets injured we are relying on Ulloa and Okazaki to fire us into too 4. I really hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the arse.
vulpes0763 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If this is true it is pathetic ! 15 games to go and only 3 strikers available. 1/ 2 injuries and all the great work done in the first half of the season will be wasted ! We know CR wanted a striker and the club have let him down!! Ridiculous! how have the club let him down exactly?
escos Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Just been reading some loan rules. Apparently if we recall Krameric he couldn't play, as can only do that in a transfer window?!
HighPeakFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 You're all acting like a bunch of spoils brats, yes it's disappointing we didn't manage to strengthen upfront but it's not like we didn't try and it's difficult in January. I think some of you would have been happy if we spent £22m on coco the clown just so it didn't spoil your transfer deadline day. Honestly get a grip of yourselves. Well said
Bagworthblue Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 can't believe what I am reading - 'just spend another £5m like it's small change and pay £23m ... £5m is £5,000,000. Does the number of zeros make it any more real for some of you??? No?? How about it would buy you this (pic below)....... twice!!! and with no chance of it not being what you expected, or getting injured next week and it will probably go up in value, not down .. oh and by the way - £5m is just the extra you are saying to throw at someone on top of the £18.m you already put aside which could have bought you £8 of these!!! Get a grip people
Fatbloke Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I`m far more relieved that we have not lost any of our players than I am disappointed about not signing anyone, we have got over half way through the season at the top with the squad we have and now the players know they are remaining with us we will see everyone buckling down and finishing the job they started.
foxinsox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Schlupp is a few weeks off, but we hardly have an injury crisis at present! Show a bit of faith ye great Jessies!
Livid Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 40 years of supporting them and I'm really hoping this doesn't become the big "what if ?"moment in our history.
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Jesus, what's with all the bedwetters on here tonight, calm down we are top of the premier league.
Gerard Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm not worried, it would have been great to bring in a quality striker but I'd rather we didn't bother than do a deal we weren't sure about. Only 15 games left and playing once a week, the squad should be ample. We could easily play 4-1-4-1 with Amartey holding in front of DD & Kante and Mahrez given more attacking license. If Vardy got injured we were pretty much screwed anyway and if he doesn't, happy days. Onwards & upwards, up the City.
adam Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Just been reading some loan rules. Apparently if we recall Krameric he couldn't play, as can only do that in a transfer window?! I'm sure that's right. Well that's how it works on football manager anyway.

Get a grip people You are aware you know roughly what you are gonna pay when you buy a house. If the owner wants 10million you only gonna offer 5 and be surprised when he chooses not to sell? If someone has a release clause. Then it's there for a reason. Is that bit really that difficult to understand. If you want the player. Then you pay it. If we didn't don't start playing games.
fuchsntf Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm genuinely disappointed. Nobody should make light of the bereft number of strikers we currently have, if we lose Vardy then our season is heavily compromised. TO ALL READ THE ABOVE,!!! ...now think about it, if we lose Vardy whoever we could of got in, our season would be C o m p r i m i s e d.
BlueJoe Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Schlupp is a few weeks off, but we hardly have an injury crisis at present! Show a bit of faith ye great Jessies! It's not about faith... I'd rather we gambled with £30 mil not on being caught short should our only credible striker, who has spent a month nursing an injury and has only just had surgery, stays fit and keeps scoring! When the prize at the end of it all is a big wedge on Monday and Champions League football!!!
Ozwin Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Football Republic just said that Leicester are to announce something soon! Hopefully they weren't just having us on.
Vacamion Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Now, no matter how spoilt it makes me, I will be livid and blame it on only having 3 feckin strikers.. Really, really spoilt.
chapero82 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Football Republic just said that Leicester are to announce something soon! Hopefully they weren't just having us on. Who are they?

Tielemans63 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm not throwing my toys out the pram but I do think people have a right to be disappointed that we haven't improved our striking options when we have an opportunity to do something incredible, an opportunity we may never get again. It seems even more strange when you consider how confident Claudio was earlier in the window. Makes you wonder how he's feeling this evening.
FoxesFan94 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Football Republic just said that Leicester are to announce something soon! Hopefully they weren't just having us on. Will believe it when I see it.
BlueJoe Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Jesus, what's with all the bedwetters on here tonight, calm down we are top of the premier league. What's with all the people on here tonight being 'happy just to be top in Feb'.The season is 10 months long and we have a serious chance to be there or there abouts... Some of us are thinking about May!!!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Football Republic just said that Leicester are to announce something soon! Hopefully they weren't just having us on. Benalouane going Fiorentina probably

It seems even more strange when you consider how confident Claudio was earlier in the window. Makes you wonder how he's feeling this evening. This basically. It's disappointment, we are allowed to Vent. The suggestion from most of the forum was we needed a new striker, Claudio suggested a new striker. It hasn't happened now those who feel they don't need to get ravelled up in the transfer drama are coming out and saying 'it's fine, stop being dramatic, we don't need another striker', 'we are top of the league, chill'. Yes we are, I still want to be in May. I'm not living for the moment, I'm hoping for the ultimate victory. Some people being completely not bothered about adequate cover up top are worrying me more than those showing disappointment
