ImBlue Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 IF Vardy gets injured and touch wood he doesn't.... are we really going to be able to compete for the top 4 with Shinji and possibly the shittest striker in the PL? Awful. Took a big risk by not buying Musa's buyout clause imo. Are you talking about Shinjis alter ego? As of the 1st of February 2016, Robinho is now a free agent after his contract ended with Guangzhou Evergrande. Unattached... Does that mean he can sign for anyone at anytime?? Get it done
Russell sprout Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Suppose with kram gettin game time now should the sh*t hit the fan with vardy then at least he'll hopefully be sharper getting game time and will be able to be recalled,
J.Lisemore Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 And to think Everton signed someone who would have been perfect for us for £13.5M Its not even knee-jerk, we're lacking another forward.

tyfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Should have paid the extra 5 mil for musa for **** sake. Two weeks to have done something and we get no one. This will bite us on our arse mark my words
Ric Flair Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Poor. Argue it all you like, this is a big gamble to go in to the remaining games with only 3 strikers. We're not a team that plays 1 up top either so essentially we've only 1 spare player. It's a huge strain on Vardy this is.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 A difficult one really, do you; Pay more than you think someone is worth? Sign someone you don't really want? Stick to your principles? It's a difficult one as I've said, but you'd hope the principled man wins the day more often than not.
alanf0x Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Fantastic news that all the key players will be staying but very disappointing not to get a striker in to help vardy. Top 4 will be difficult to maintain now.
AKCJ Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Absolutely superb window. Kept hold of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante and have signed two players with very high potential for minimal fees. Top of the league and a superb time to be a Leicester fan.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Suppose with kram gettin game time now should the sh*t hit the fan with vardy then at least he'll hopefully be sharper getting game time and will be able to be recalled, Did we put a recall clause on the loan deal
The Doctor Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Don't get it - Kramaric didn't suit our Plan A, but he provided an extra option. If we were only half-arsed about getting a striker in, why did we let him go - unless he wanted more game time, in which case we should have bloody gone for it rather than just dipped our toes.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Well, a striker would be of been nice but on the positive side like I said a couple of days ago, Vardy will score more goals, Okazaki is getting better and better & Ulloa will still score goals too over the season.
escos Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Did we put a recall clause on the loan deal Apparently, yes.
FoxesFan94 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Absolutely superb window. Kept hold of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante and have signed two players with very high potential for minimal fees. Top of the league and a superb time to be a Leicester fan. I doubt very much that Vardy and Mahrez were going to leave anyway considering our league position.
pleatout Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 That's it, my season ticket goes back...... Come on, let's get a grip. The 3 strikers plus Mahrez have got us to where we are. Vardy HAS been injured. Ulloa ISNT the worst striker in the prem. Just because we havent paid over the odds for someone or tried to get someone that clearly didnt want to come it isnt the end of the world.
adam Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Pretty sure we can't recall kramaric unless we do it before 11pm
ramboacdc Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Strange given we sent Kramaric out on loan. he must have thought we could get someone, anyone....failed.
5waller5 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Think we may live to regret not pushing the boat out. You do't get many chances to go big and this was it.
splinterdream Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Strange given we sent Kramaric out on loan. I think there was something more than his playing ability that's stopped Kramaric getting game time, I don't think he'll ever play for us again.
dylanlegend Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Absolutely superb window. Kept hold of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante and have signed two players with very high potential for minimal fees. Top of the league and a superb time to be a Leicester fan. This. We didn't sign a striker it's not the end of the world, rather that than waste money on some tosh. I trust the players who got us to the top to keep us there
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Absolutely superb window. Kept hold of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante and have signed two players with very high potential for minimal fees. Top of the league and a superb time to be a Leicester fan. Agree but a striker was hoped
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Love that the media have questioned our squad strength all season and we've completely shoved it up their jumpers by making the squad even weaker in January.

Our biggest chance ever of the title/CL football and we haven't splashed the cash on a striker. That's quite poor imo.

But we DID want this Musa guy or else we wouldn't have bid 18 million for him. If he was top of the list, in the grand scheme of things, why didn't we just meet their asking price? We were fully prepared to pay 18 million, what would a few more on top have mattered? Seems to me like we've tried to get whatever we can on the cheap and its backfired and we've ended up with no one.
