yorkie1999 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Dissapointed. 15 games with 3 strikersWeve managed pretty well for the last 23 games
Thracian Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Our negotiations when it comes to bigger clubs is really poor we take way too long doing things Well it's sure seems to have made something of a laughing stock out of us - so many quoted targets and so few realised including the striker that was so vital to us. Still hope for another 87 minutes.
Long Eaton Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We were kicking Kramaric out of the door weeks ago. Why have we only started looking since he was gone.
escos Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Does Kramaric have a recall option??!! https://twitter.com/thesharpeend/status/694269947812405252
fuchsntf Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Dissapointed. 15 games with 3 strikers But we have Wasi...
Robin JD Popley Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I, like all of us, hope that today isn't the day we threw away our chance to get into the Champions League. The squad is an united one and we at least have that thought to console ourselves with as we look forward. However, we may never get this chance again - I am so disappointed.
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 This. We didn't sign a striker it's not the end of the world, rather that than waste money on some tosh. I trust the players who got us to the top to keep us there Nobody is saying otherwise. If Arsenal or Man City decide to take Vardy out knowing full well it ends our title hopes, what then? Be sensible people, yes we kept our best players, yes we are where we are with the squad we have, but seriusly, Vardy gets a serious injury and you could well be waving bye bye to Champions League and the dream we have all been having for the last 5 months.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Does seem like an opportunity missed - we're unlikely to be top of the league during a transfer window again for a while/ever but given everything the club's been through it's good that the club didn't get ripped off chasing any old body. I am worried about us going with 3 strikers for 2 places. If Vardy gets injured our season is pretty much over. But at least it will be over with us in the top half rather than battling to stay up. It will be interesting to see if this means Gray gets a bit more game time than previously planned with Mahrez at number 10.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Such a shambles. We've potentially blown an amazing opportunity to pull off a footballing miracle. Should have paid the extra money for Musa if he was our number 1 target! The difference in prize money between end of season positions could have covered the difference anyway!
adam Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Concerned that Vardy won't be fit enough to play all the games. He looked completely shagged out over Xmas. Wouldn't fancy watching Ulloa leading the line for a long period of time.
SheppyFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I think this is a smokescreen, we've said no more business right before we signed armartey..
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It's all well and good saying it's only £5m more but that's nearly our transfer record on top of £18m. Regardless of the TV deal, it's still a gigantic amount of money for a club of our size with no guarantees. He could have been shit or taken six months to adapt to the league etc.
AKCJ Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Love that the media have questioned our squad strength all season and we've completely shoved it up their jumpers by making the squad even weaker in January. How the hell have you worked that out?
roblcfc84 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Must be time to get shot of rudkin or whoever the hell is doing our deals - newcastle made some great buys and thry are bottom 3
lifted*fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We shouldnt have been penny pinching in this window. £22m for Musa wouldn't have been too much to ask seeing as we've been so frugal with money up until now. We've got ourselves into a great position with what we've got but not adding another striker will cost us. Vardy will be under immense pressure now knowing that he's our only hope of staying in the top 4. Here's to hoping he reacts well to that pressure and doesn't dry up and fall apart.
Russell sprout Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Does Kramaric have a recall option??!! Il be gobsmacked if he hasn't,Cannot help but think that now we've not signed a striker that it's not the last we've seen of him,he is another option now and not surplus to requirements
tyfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 People saying it's ok because our strikers have got us this far need to realise that the players are tired and they will slow up. I was really hoping to sign someone who would take the strain off vardy etc
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I think this is a smokescreen, we've said no more business right before we signed armartey.. A smokescreen to stop someone gazumping us at 10:59? Bloody smokescreens.
dylanlegend Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Guys it could be worse..... We could be Villa, bottom of the league and signed 0 players in Jan- have they given up already!
