ramboacdc Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Everyone has them but this season mine have got worse and worse. my list is the following now: at the game have to park at welford road and have to have 1 stowford press before the game. daughter has to have a hot dog and water. always have to buy a programme from the same shop outside the away end and not open it (seriously i dotn open it unless little girl wants the posters!) if im at home i cant tune in till 2 minutes before the game starts ones for both scenarios: have to wear my 14/15 shirt too. it has to be put on left arm, right arm, head. (wore my black 15/16 shirt once to arsenal this season...since then...bad) have to wear my glasses even though i dont need them have to have livescore on me at all times anyone else got any they have always done or adopted this season?

Whatever you're doing keep doing it !!! Personally, I think its a load of b*llox and we just happen to have a good team.
Rocket-Ron Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 For the Arsenal game we had Maom instead of the usual Chewits. Back to the norm after that game.

Captain... Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 This season has been a complete superstition buster for me, it doesn't matter what I do or how I do it we still keep on winning, forgot my lucky shirt, we won, forgot my lucky badge, we won. Always used to be that if I ate during a game we lost/conceded (this started after that Newcastle game, we were 3-1 up when my Mum served dinner we lost 4-3). Buying a programme became unlucky, not any more. It is almost as if nothing I do has any impact on the result.
GaelicFox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Have to have 3 singha beer , two chicken balti pies pre game. Sloe gin at half time, 3 pints on the way home. If I don't fulfil that routine every home game I get anxious we will loose the next game !
Countryfox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 i do too! thats why it annoys me i am doing it! i am not a superstitious person. but i cannot stop doing it! Same as smoking mate ..... just quit. Have to have 3 singha beer , two chicken balti pies pre game. Sloe gin at half time, 3 pints on the way home. If I don't fulfil that routine every home game I get anxious we will loose the next game ! Thats my type of superstition !!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 The fox at the Emirates - we've already won, wear whatever pants you want from now on
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I am convinced that our great season is almost solely down to my superstitions of wearing the same jeans, shirt, top, trainers and of course lucky pants to each game (I've only missed one game all season - the draw at Bournemouth so it's well tried and tested). I also always buy a programme. The superstition has got such a hold of me that I've tried to track back what I did wrong for the Arsenal and Liverpool games. I thought it was the coat but we won the Stoke game and the return Liverpool game. If I could only find out what I did wrong for those games we'd remain undefeated for the rest of the season.
TiffToff88 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 The only matchday superstition i have is that i sit down for the first half, but stand up for the 2nd half, i have done it every home game this season that i've been to (Only league game i've missed so far this season was the Arsenal game!) I sit right on the back row so doesn't affect anyone moaning at me for blocking their view!
kingcarr21 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Ive told you all before. After my son was born we went on that incredible run in the Championship. Then after his 1st bday the next game was the west ham game where Kingy scored the winner which set in motion the great escape. Now he has just turned 2 we are on an incredible run. You can all thank him for Leicesters upturn in fortunes. After his 3rd bday will be the Champions League knockout stages.
ajthefox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I've not showered since opening day. Seems to be going well but I don't have any friends any more. You win some, you lose some.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 The club played this song at half time at the last game and it brought back all sorts of memories, because since the beginning of the championship winning season they played Calvin Harris ft florence and the machine - Spectrum And everything I hear that song on a match day we win. It's like a sign!
Jimbo Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Can't tell anyone what mine are or they would lose their power and not work! It's like keeping your birthday wish to yourself, if you tell anyone then it won't come true!
Kitchandro Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Have to wear blue boxers Have to wear blue socks These are the general ones that have been going on for years. However, since we beat West Ham in April I have absolutely had to play Mexican/latin music on the way to any match I attend. Some favourites include. Pretty sure our form is down to this. You're welcome.
Bayfox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Not just this season, but it has just dawned on me that we started drinking in the parcel yard every week in the championship season, before that we always went elsewhere. Guess we are gonna have to carry on afterall, that's a title, the greatest escape and possibly the greatest season!!!
DangerFox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I feel your pain. Last years end to the season miracle was down to me in my head, I wore a t shirt under my jumper and couldn't wash it! Ridiculous! This year, it has evolved a bit more and I wish it hadn't. Firstly my new born (now 7 months) daughter has to have a photo taken in her city shirt. This is then distributed to family, who koan if I haven't done do in good time. Secondly, we have to go to the same pub at the same time, drink the same drinks and play a game of chase the ace in cards. Thirdly I have to go and sit and watch the players train before the game. Fourthly, I have to get a message from a fellow LCFC supporter and cousin who lives in Canada, who has to predict we'll lose every game 3-1. Lastly, I cannot predict we'll win on Super 6. I've just bored myself with that, sorry! This is sad but glad others have issues! I don't care, as long as we keep winning!
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I'm hardly able to make away games these days. I can't bear to listen or know what is going on in an away match if I'm not there so every time I tend to go for a drive or do something to occupy my time until 5pm when I check the score. I've been doing this for years now and it drives me mad if I'm honest. I'm convinced if I listen we'll lose. Even went for a 9 mile walk without my phone when we beat Burnley away last season.

I've just bored myself with that, sorry! This is sad but glad others have issues! I don't care, as long as we keep winning! This is something I've done for a long long time! I've even been known to bet against us at times, because in my head I'm so unlucky when it comes to football betting I'm actually bringing luck to us! I have to do things in a certain order on a match day. Can't say what they are though! I can't actually believe some of you are sharing your secrets! It's making me feel a bit uneasy, and starting to worry about the rest of the season........... Do I need to seek professional medical advice?? How many others on here have refused to make Vardy or Mahrez their captain on fantasy premier league because you don't want to jinx them?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Blue Boxers Don't let anyone I go with sit in my seat Worship my rachel shrine
Livid Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I've changed where I parked, ditched the Lucky Hoody/Pin Badge/Baseball hat/t-shirt on occasions and it's not made a bit of difference. I'm still buying the programme this season though and that isn't going to change despite all of the above. It's the lucky programme purchase that is keeping it going!
danny. Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Surely it's just Rachel photos right? DIdn't our "bad spell" coincide with a lack or Rachel threads?
Livid Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Oh and I forgot not a single city player in my fantasy team. I don't think one of us in the league, mainly city fans, has Vardy and Mahrez in there else someone would be running away with it.
Merging Cultures Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 have to wear my 14/15 shirt. it has to be put on left arm, right arm, head too. How else would you wear your shirt?
