Leicester City v Norwich match thread

They need to be of similar size for the matchday squad picture - otherwise, the social media team would have to zoom out quite considerably. :D

Three wingers on the bench - a bit much, no?

I guess you'd ask who has missed out from the bench? Chilwell is covered by Schlupp who also adds a left mid option if we need an injection of pace. The rest are pretty regular bench players.

Jesus. Give the lad a chance! You're hilarious.

Just being honest! I am worried about such a big unknown. I'll give him a chance, and if he does properly at RB I'll give him a chance in a different position too.

If you were to choose any game to give a guy a debut... It'd be a home one, after having a week to prepare. And with all due respect to Norwich, they're the sort of opposition you'd choose as well.

Well, the Danish Superliga or the Swedish Allsvenskan may not be the most prestigious leagues in the world, but let's remember that not so long ago, we had signed a certain Jamie Vardy from a non-league outfit and an unknown Algerian winger from Ligue 2.

Also, Amartey comes with a dozen of games in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, so I have faith.

Let's see how he does in his not-natural position, then slate him later (if applicable).

True.. still worried though!

looks like 4-2-3-1 to me.

That's from their official Twitter. Unless they are using the semicolons to mislead us, it's 3-4-3.

That defence is gonna be torn apart.

Let's not get too cocky. We need to treat every team with maximum respect, at least for the first 70 minutes or so.

We could also revert to 3-5-2 to match up with them if they play that way and its a problem tactically

like the look of that if needed

Schmeichel

Amartey - Huth - Morgan

Albrighton - Drinky - Kante - Fuchs

Mahrez

Vardy - Okazaki.

It's amazing that Amartey for Simpson is the first change to the starting eleven for seven league games. It only seems like a couple of months since we had a different team every bloody week.

When was the last time Dyer started? I reckon it's his body, replaced with Amartey's head.

Haha! I'm happy to consider that as a theory to be fair. As long as it's only a photoshop and not a diabolical move by out sports science team. He'd just be weighed down by Amartey's monster head.

That defence is borderline Aston Villa. We'll do well to not win today. Thats not me being cocky, that's just me outlining the capabilty of our players and style of play.
