Will be very sad all the celebrations going on and the only person you will interview live on the radio is Claudio,

unless I am wrong there is still no communications with the assistant manager or any of the players. With two months to the end of the season is now not the time for the rift to be settled so we can here our brilliant players on the radio. The owners seem to want to involve our fans in the celebrations but not you !!

Now is not the time to change anything, especially anything to do with media that could unsettle the squad. Heads down concentrating is what the players need to do.

Not bleating on about this ffs.

They will be on every tv channel and every other radio station.

If you love rl that much complain to the BBC not moan about the people a certain t1t was upsetting and abusing. I for one hope they never speak while that arse works for RL.

You only have to look at his Twitter to gauge how much of a bellend Stringer is, I wouldn't want to talk to him either.

All the "this is happening" hash tags etc are tragic as fxck, he even posted a picture of the gold prem badges earlier, he's like a Middle Aged child.

Coverage of football is massive nowadays and we no longer rely on local coverage. Social media is massive and anything you miss you can quickly catch up on. Even if you log on here there will more than likely be a link to an interview.

I've always listened to monday night's phone for as long as I can remember but if I miss it I'm not too bothered as literally everything is on the internet.

Frankly I'd love it if, as the players do a lap of honour with the trophy, a rousing cry of "IIIIIIAN STRINGER, WHAT A W%NKER, WHAT A W%NKER" went round.

Stringer and Elliott give excellent commentary imo

They really don't. When we were last on 5live I swapped between the two a bit in the car, and its crazy how you actually have a picture of what's going on with a decent radio commentator.

Yeah strongly agree 5 Live is much better, not only for the higher quality of the commentary but also to get a bit of a fairer analysis of what's happening. Local radio will always be either too biased for or too biased against the local team it reports on.

Having said that, sometimes RL is the only option, e.g. while driving and the game not being on 5 Live, and for many of us it's what we grew up listening to if you couldn't get to a game.

I'd love the differences to be resolved in time for, say, the trophy parade (if we win it that is).

There will be plenty of fans in the county - kids, younger adults, and the elderly alike, in hospitals, hospices and care homes, for example - who wouldn't be able to go and see it. It would be magical for them to listen to their heroes on a day like that.

As of last season, I only really listen to Radio Leicester for 10 minutes before and after the match. Sometimes the forum if they've got someone good on. As people have said, even if R5L only come to whoever is covering us for 2 minutes, and the studio talk about the game for 5 minutes before and after, it's head and shoulders above probably 3 hours of RL coverage. That said, I do like Matt Elliott, Jason Bourne and Mike McCarthy. Any supporting cast has got to be better than Alan Young by default though.

Think the show would do better with a new lead man, and Stringer would probably do better being a roving reporter for 5 Live, taking some of that enthusiasm but without the partisanship.

Always enjoyed the radio Leicester coverage you can hear the passion in stringers voice although yes not every ones cup of tea

Last time I went any wear near 5 live pleat was still talking bollocks about us thought is been transformed back to the 90s

If we actually won it I think you'll hear from the players on about 20,000 other radio & TV stations, newspapers, books, films, documentaries, after dinner speeches for the next 50 years...

The last thing on my mind would be "oh I wish we had stringer asking questions about fecking sausages".

Yeah I'd rather listen to Radio Leicester coverage in general, but the actual commentary is extremely unclear. Often I'll watch highlights and it will look nothing like how I imagined it from stringers description. 5live and others do a much better job of that.

This 100% we don't need stringer to know what the players have to say, every radio station, media outlet in the country and even the world will want to speak to them.

All the presumptious talk about us heading for the Premiership title - and that includes Radio Leicester - has irritated me no end and today it was back to reality with Spurs beating Bournemouth and returning to their perch just 5 points off our breathtaking pace.

Truth is, with Spurs' superior goal difference, they are still only one win and two draws away from catching us, have a damned good team, an excellent coach and every chance of winning all their remaining games against generally faltering opposition.

We've not won anything yet and there'll be a lot of hard work, thought, focus and energy needed before we do.

One match at a time.
