Pinnerhoops Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 QPR fan here. What your team has done this season is unbelievable. Honestly, I didn't expect Leicester to keep this up all season, but I'm so glad they have. I'm nervous watching as every game goes by and I celebrate each win as if it's my team winning. I don't know how any of you are getting by with the nerves. . Good luck tomorrow and I sincerely hope you win the league.
Webbo Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Thanks for your good wishes and in answer to your question I'm shitting it.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Wasn't even this nervous when we went on that run to survive, this is history and every game is hard to watch... just hope it isn't another 1 nil can't take it anymore... let's beat them comfortably tomorrow
johnny the fox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Getting very little enjoyment out it now... it would something though wouldn't it...
Cropwellfox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Even Andy Carroll is on our side! Time from Friday evening to Sunday evening seems to somehow slow down every week at the moment.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Thanks for the nice words. It's an incredible journey for us as fans, we've witnessed the great escape last season and now of course we could experience a BPL title this season. I get the impression this season has really bought the city of Leicester, together as one. This potential title win will probably be a good boost for clubs similar to Leicester or clubs in general, in the way that we're a close knit club - the togetherness between the players, manager and fans is excellent and has gone a long way into us being so successful. Belief has also been key.
Pinnerhoops Posted 9 April 2016 Author Posted 9 April 2016 Honest question, how much of this is down to Ranieri? Nigel Pearson had you rocking at the tail end of last season.
HighPeakFox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Impossible to measure, but one would not have happened without the other. Ranieri is tactically way superior.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Honest question, how much of this is down to Ranieri? Nigel Pearson had you rocking at the tail end of last season. Ranieri has tightened the defence and knows how to change games tactically something Pearson wasn't great at, he did just make the same subs regardless of what was happening...
Finnegan Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 I'm absolutely dying. Desperate for Spuds to drop more points and calm my nerves.
holyfox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Thanks Pal, like others have said, this is harder to handle than the greatest escape last year. Each week I try to distract myself around game time and a mixture of elated and relieved after the final whistle. I think I'll o ly really start enjoying, if and when we do it.. Then I can spend the rest of my life enjoying it! COYB
bovril Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Thanks. I'm trying to stay philosophical, we've proved a smaller club can challenge for the title without spending big and anything else is a bonus. QPR fans are a great bunch, in general. Honest question, how much of this is down to Ranieri?Nigel Pearson had you rocking at the tail end of last season. Being in the Prem is down to Pearson, being top is completely down to Ranieri. His genius has been to find a system and style that perfectly compliment the individuals that we have in our team.
Spudulike Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 It almost feels that we are carrying the expectation and hopes of proper fans everywhere. Hope that we can do it for everyone

As Pearson and team signed nearly all those individuals i don't think you can say it's "completely" down to ranieri. I very much doubt Claudio would have built a side capable of doing what this one has if he had to build his own team. Tactically, yes, I'd go as far as to say close to flawless all season madness really given he couldn't beat the Faroe Islands in his last job
z-layrex Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 I take to my bed every match day these days I can't handle it I get ill.

weller54 Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 I'm finding it excruciating but my Goodness it's bloody exciting too!.. Makes it worse by the fact we're in a two horse race with Spuds.. Them winning it is just an unbearable thought!

As for Ranieri I know for a fact that he does expect to be involved in choosing players. He left Juventus for that reason.
Rasmic123 Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 i'm gonna go against the grain here, not shitting it because from what i've seen with these players, i think we have the quality to go on and see it out. we're playing so well at the moment and the way we've played in some games especially this season (man city, liverpool, swansea, newcastle) has just been an absolute joy to watch
Carl the Llama Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 I thought Walsh chose the players not Nigel? As for Ranieri I know for a fact that he does expect to be involved in choosing players. He left Juventus for that reason. That's not what he said. We have it from Claudio's own mouth that he wasn't keen on Kanté but he caved into Walsh's demands then subsequently realised his error in judgement so it's perfectly fair to doubt that Claudio would have built an equally successful squad if left to his own devices.
Vacamion Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 I still wake restlessly at 3am, having dreamt we lose all 6 and finish 3rd. Good luck to the Rs, now Joey Barton doesn't play for you.
Livid Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 To paraphrase Dicken's It's the best of times, it's the worst of times. Nothing in 40 years of support has prepared me for this.
