NotQuiteAFox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Definitely. Everyone, including their own fans, expect to breeze past Stoke but all it takes is one moment and everything turns on its head. Look at Stevie G against Chelsea. It does happen.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 WHU was a tremendously tough game. But I don't see ManU and Chelsea - both away - being any easier. And there is uncertainty over the availability of our leading scorer and game-changer. The pressure on us for our two home games is huge in my head. Thank goodness the team don't use your head then.
TrentFox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Thank goodness the team don't use your head then.I'd be fairly certain that there are good people on the sports science team making damned sure the playing staff don't think that way.
Rincewind Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Spurs are also being chased by Arsenal and Man City. Who are not far behind. They may want to ensure second spot. Don't Arsenal have a game in hand? Three points behind Spurs. It is up to us to get the results although a little help from Stoke tonight will be nice. Losing Vardy is a blow but the other players will now be even more determined. Hope he does not get a longer ban. If the assessor sees that Moss had a poor game they may take a more lenient view. But that is just me being logical sensible and a little biased.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I wonder if a fergie type rant would work...how stoke are past it and have nothing to play for, How spurs will smash 'em... It might work to galvanise them to put that extra in to prove they aren't laying down
Detroit Blues Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Imagine if Jeff Moss happens to Tottenham. If they have an early red or a harsh penalty go against them, it could end their title dreams. We can afford human mistakes and still win the title. They must be perfect and hope we falter.
fuchsntf Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Forget Spurs..!! Forget the Vardy situation..!!! We are chasing the title, we have a top group of players. With 4 games left with our midfield and Mahrez, its upto the opposition, to do something, to stop us. This season we have upset history, in away games, by turning previous yrs results around. WE have a 5-8pts gap .The hardest game has passed. From now on every point we take Spurs have to better. They could well ride the pressure pony, with little problems, but that still has to be proven. They slip up in only 2 games, they can only manage 76pts at best. All our players with the exception of the FBs +Gk have scored. Again we have earnt the right to be in a 2 horse race for the title. There is not one reason we cant finish it off, we without Vardy still have the fullmetal jacket, the true Kings honour, and other players with all the rescources. Now tell me you are still worried...
AKCJ Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Permutations 1: Spurs win... move on to 68 points... Max possible: 80. We need 8 from our last four 2: Spurs draw... 66 points... Max possible: 78. 6 points needed 3: Spurs lose... 65 points... Max possible: 77. 5 points needed Note: Once we get to 76 Man City and Arsenal are no longer in contention, since their maximum possible points is 75. This just sums up why the hysteria isn't needed. If Spurs don't win tonight then it's over for me.

Yep.. Still worried!
norwichfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 It would be good if we could take up every empty seat at Stokes ground tonight with blua and white and clappers, cheering Stoke on like they've never been cheered before.....
Monsell1976 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 In the sense of fair play, moss should ref tonight, and given the chance to **** up another game
mancunianfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Stoke’s record at home is pretty good… Stoke 0 Arsenal 0 Stoke 2 Man Utd 0 Stoke 2 Man City 0 Stoke 1 Chelsea 0 Stoke 2 Leicester 2 Also… Tottenham 2 Stoke 2
Stevosevic Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Spurs will win tonight imo, in fact I can't see them not getting 15 points. We need to get the 8
mancunianfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Spurs will win tonight imo, in fact I can't see them not getting 15 points. We need to get the 8 Behave, they are Spurs not Real Madrid!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Spurs will win tonight imo, in fact I can't see them not getting 15 points. We need to get the 8 Can't see them getting 15 I think they will get 13 points... 4 wins and a draw, meaning we need two wins...
mancunianfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Stoke DRAW West Brom WIN Chelsea LOSE Southampton WIN Newcastle DRAW 8 points from 15, finish on 73 points.
st albans fox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Vardy's charge will give them an little extra lift for tonight. lets hope arnie can do his international captain a favour !!
weller54 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Hate Spurs and their knobish fans more as each day goes by.. Unfortunately I think they'll win at Stoke tonight. The one game I had them down for dropping points was Chelsea, but after watching them against Manchester city at the weekend I'm not convinced! This is going down to the wire and I just hope Newcastle need a win last game of the season and beat the c***s!
jammie82uk Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Seems like the bookies have Spurs down for winning the title now
LJS Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Looks more like the bookies are trying to tempt punters to stick money on something they don't think will happen, to be honest.
Corky Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Not sure about this one. I think they'll be boosted by us not winning but that could bring it's own pressure in that the race is still on. Stoke are hit and miss at home this season- beat the Manchester clubs convincingly, drew with ourselves and Arsenal yet lost to West Brom, Watford and thumped by Everton. Hopefully the run against top sides will continue, anything less than a Tottenham win and we've had another good weekend.
Fox 4 Life Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Well the radio and every other ****er says it's their title now Vardy is out so let's hope they bottle it under increased pressure
st albans fox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Seems like the bookies have Spurs down for winning the title now we've lengthened to 1/3 - 1/5. we were 1/4.5 - 1/7 yesterday am. spurs into 2.75/1 - 4/1. they were 3.5/1 - 5/1 yesterday am looks like vardys suspension is a catalyst for some of this spurs get a win tonight and I can see us going out as far as 1/2, perhaps 4/6 in places. almost worth a punt if they're giving away money!
Socks Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Well the radio and every other ****er says it's their title now Vardy is out so let's hope they bottle it under increased pressure thats all ive heard all day on radio/media of course its spurs title just cos one of our players is banned, of course get the black and white ribbons on the trophy now...its over Darren Gough is more or less throating off the spurs boss as we speak
