ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 It's well documented we have an option to recall the in form striker. So with Vardy likely to be banned further, do we take the option and get him back? Me, I think so but I have a feeling Claudio doesn't fancy him. Discuss......
Jimmy Lad Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Radio Leicester said no recall permitted this season.

He can come back as a ball boy - he isn't in the 25 man squad. I thought this might be an early Rachel thread when I read the title!
stevelcfc Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Pretty sure your only allowed to recall during the permitted windows too.
KingKante Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Nice idea but can't see it happening, still think he would have bagged more than Okazaki if he had had the same amount of play time!
lgfualol Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Nice idea but can't see it happening, still think he would have bagged more than Okazaki if he had had the same amount of play time! But probably would have ran half the distance
tylesta Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 10 appearance in germany - 4 goalsShinji okazaki 29 apperances 5 goals
MC Prussian Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Shinji okazaki 29 apperances 5 goals 32 appearances in the league, five goals. And no, we can't recall Kramaric before the end of the season. Besides, Hoffenheim are rumoured to be willing to trigger the release clause. He's done well for them so far.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 He wouldn't be in the 25 man squad anyway would he?
erlee Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 if we haven't tried him (?) how do we arrived at the point where he had to be loaned out??
Izzy Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Shinji up front in place of Vardy and Leo behind him seems pretty obvious to me. We've got options in King, Grey, Schlupp etc. off the bench. No drama, and no need for Kram. The current squad are more than capable of getting by without JV for a few games.
foxoffderby Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Riyad can play in the hole and we have Dodoo and Jeff and Grey its fine
Captain... Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 We can still make additions to the 25 man squad for unattached players, so him not being named in the 25 man squad doesn't necessarily mean we don't have a recall option. But it has been reported we don't have that option then it is a moot point.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I don't think Okazaki will work up top to be honest. I know he tries hard but he is not strong and he loses possession too easily. I'd rather start with Ulloa as a target man and try and get crosses in to him. I'd play Mahrez centrally behind him with Jeff and Albrighton on the wings beating players and pinging the balls in. The last few games we have been banging in crosses anyway and losing possession as a result as we have no real aerial threat until Ulloa comes on.
Jace Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I'd love to know what is the problem about Kramaric to be the guy appears to have bags of talent and is natural goalscorer, I don't know how true it is but a friend of mine who's very clued up on Croatian football said the problem with him is his intelligence and thats why he thinks the Leicester coaching team and Ranieri don't feel he's good enough

KingKante Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 the whole kramaric thing still baffles me, to pay a club record fee for him and to let him go without too much of a run out just cant get my head round. if he looked pants in germany id understand but some of his finishes have been class
Fox92 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Surely Kramaric is not even registered in the squad? We would have had to register players after the transfer window and Kramaric moved away from the club.

The Doctor Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Because they see him in training every day rather than basing it on youtube clips. In fairness to Kramaric, from what ranieri was saying about him its more him not fitting the normal style of play or offering enough of a plan b than anything. Vardy and okazaki are the greyhounds for the break neck counters, ulloa is the big man to provide a battering ram through, Kramaric is neither rapid nor a beast; so would be plan c (slow possession). Still, he's not going to be recalled.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 10 appearance in germany - 4 goals Which over a 38 game season is about 15/16 goals in a bottom half team.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Which over a 38 game season is about 15/16 goals in a bottom half team. About how much Okazaki scored in Germany in his last 2 seasons.. came over here and scored 5.
